Petite Ermitage is amazing, but what takes it to the next level is the people who work there. Specifically Eve and Sonia. I decided I wanted to propose to my fiancé on top of the hotel in the beautiful rooftop garden. We went several months...More
I've been staying at the Petit Ermitage on my annual January trip to LA for many years now, and this year didn't disappoint.
I'm such a huge fan of the hotel. I love the bohemian chic decor and vibe, and the friendly staff. The rooms...More
I found myself, without thinking, at this incredible place. There aren’t enough stars. Do yourself a favor and ask for Alyssa, talk about everything being done the right way. She’s a beam of light and made our experience memorable. Wonderful time.
If you’re looking for a slice of heaven, look no further. The decor will stimulate your senses from the most fragrant candles throughout, amazing art work, and world music played on the roof top.Dont miss the breakfast, you’ll probably see hummingbirds. All of this would be nothing without...More
I don’t normally write reviews but my stay here was so bad that I felt compelled to share my experience.
It’s hard to know where to start with what was wrong with this place so I’ll walk you through our stay from the beginning.
Fashioned after a private pied-a-terre, Petit Ermitage offers guests an intimate sanctuary in which to take refuge from the bustling city of Los Angeles. Nestled on a quiet street in West Hollywood, but located just ...Moresteps from the Sunset Strip, Petit features an extensive art collection, eclectic European antiques, custom-crafted mattresses, 618 thread count sheets, in-room fireplaces, balconies and hand-woven Turkish carpets. The Private Rooftop - replete with native gardens, a salt water pool, cabanas, an outdoor sunken fireplace and 360 degree views of the Hollywood Hills - is considered one of the premiere dining spaces in LA. For years, West Hollywood has been known as a hub for the LGBT communities in Los Angeles. Today it still maintains the title, but has also become the “it” neighborhood for the entertainment industry’s up-and-comers. Producers, directors, writers and aspiring actors call this area home. Known for great boutique shopping, vintage clothing stores, home décor shops and fitness studios, West Hollywood is a grid of
wide boulevards and narrow residential streets. The neighborhood also has a concentration of the most avant-garde restaurants in Los Angeles (rivaled only by the burgeoning restaurant scene Downtown). A trip to the iconic Sunset Strip, with its many clubs, music venues, hotels and flashing lights won’t be forgotten.
