We did a one night stay for a class reunion. Check in was easy. Parking was busy late at night. They have their own lot. Room is nice and clean. You have to borrow an ironing board, which is a small table top one. Breakfast is just cereals and muffins, coffee, juice and milk. But enough to hold us over...

The Inn is just below many freeways (highways) and very noisy. The traffic noise kept us awake at night. The room was clean, but smaller than the photo showed. We had to go around a bed to get to the closet, bathroom. Old furniture, but OK for a one night stay. Having a refrigerator and a microwave was a plus....

We found this place by Googlemapping Walnut Creek accommodation and this was the closest one. I looked it up and everything appealed. We weren't disappointed and would stay again. Stayed one night. The freeway overbridge was right opposite our room, but it wasn't too noisy at night. We didn't lose any sleep. In the middle of the carpark opposite our...

Looking for a place in Walnut Creek for a brief visit to see our son. Diablo Mountain Inn was a great spot close to where he lives. It is small, a bit outdated but clean, comfortable beds, good linens and a very friendly office staff. Breakfast of cereal, muffins, toast, fruit and hard boiled eggs included. Felt safe, it was...

If you like to walk, just down the street 0.5 miles are great restaurants and shopping. I recommend walking as valet...

The rooms are old, small & have old banged up furniture. Bathroom is old & needs updating. Hotel is poorly run. A couple rooms are better than others, but most are old & stark. Pillows are absolutely terrible. Don't stay here! Stay at the Holiday Inn Express, Marriott & even the Hotel 6 is better. Desk attendants are not helpful.

I've stayed here a couple of times for about 4+ nights and I've had nothing but good experiences. This is a great location - downtown is in walking distance. Downtown = restaurants, grocery stores, park, library, and department stores. The continental breakfast worked. This place was fairly quiet being next to 680. All in all a peaceful getaway. And score...

nice comfortable room; decent breakfast with delicious muffins and jams; very helpful, friendly staff - the office does not stay open all night but they have a good system for late check-in; overall a very good value; would definitely stay again; we did see someone with a pet - not sure if they are allowed or not
