overall the stay was good here but they didn't clean our rooms on the second day. The staff was helpful but when I asked if they could send someone for the clean up they said no one was available. it was quite disappointing.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for a week. We appreciated this new hotel's rather 'off-the-beaten path' (i.e., not along a busy thoroughfare) location & daily hot breakfast, (though a little bit more variety would make it better). Housekeeping, however, was not done in our room in two of the seven days we stayed. The first lapse would have been forgivable, but a second one was a bit riling. Imagine being out the whole day only to come back at night (when housekeeping was no longer available) to a room that had not been cleaned or made up! First time we reported it, the night staff (Sandy) was somehow dismissive & unapologetic, and though she offered to take out the trash and bring in fresh towels, one of the towels was laid on the floor, to our dismay. When the second slip-up occurred, we had to report it to hotel management. We are glad to say that both GM Carl Holmes & Director of Sales Kate Jordan graciously & pleasantly addressed our concern with an apology & discounting our rates for the two nights in question plus a rate discount on a future stay. Carl & Kate embody true hallmarks of superb customer service, which hopefully would be emulated by the rest of the hotel staff. Daughter had a softball tournament and the park was 5 minutes away from the hotel that was a plus, The entire staff was amazing from checking in with Sean to check out with Joy. Dereck the bartender and the morning crew were great, breakfast was delicious omelette’s made to order. Thank you Michelle for keeping the room clean. Amazing service and very welcoming overall, definitely recommend this place.
