We have been here 3 times now and have made it our favorite place. Owners take the time to either just talk or show you around the property. There is a horse we befreinded & fed him apples. I love coming here for the peace & quiet and also taking long walks. At night you hear the rippling of the...

We've been taking a family summer vacation to these cabins for the past 4+ years and it's always a wonderful, peaceful getaway. Not a ton to do here but relax, read a book, swim in the river swimming hole, and take a bike ride with the kids. It's nice to have a place where you can just slow down, ditch...

What a wonderful place to visit. We visited in Oct 2014 and the weather was perfect. The views amazing. If you are an outdoor person who loves nature, you will love this place. It's off the grid in the backwoods but the cabins are fully furnished so, all you really need are food and clothing. The cabins are family ran...

We have been looking for a nice place to spend some of our vacations each year. After staying at a multitude of cabins and motels with kitchens, and being anywhere from disappointed to disgusted, we found Ripple Creek Cabins. What a pleasant surprise! We loved this place from the first moments, and loved it more as we explored the beautiful...

This small resort has housekeeping cabins in the woods, and near the river. Beautifully landscaped among the trees, quiet, and with very friendly owners. The office is available for a good wifi connection, lots of books, a phone to connect with the owners. There are also badminton, bikes, blackberries to pick, and two friendly kitties. Our cabin (#6) was roomy...

This place is pretty secluded and there aren't any real restaurants or stores that are convenient near so be sure to take food. Also, the owners are hard to get a hold of except by email but are very nice. The cabins are clean and nicely kept.

This was such a delight. Beautiful grounds, cool horses, kitties, bicycles, swimming hole. Lots of peace and beauty. Day one I arrived and just chilled out. Day 2 bike ride and more chilling out. Day 3 beautiful drive to a hike to Little Boulder Lake, where I soaked my feet and ate a sandwich. The cabin was lovely, and the...

We stayed here 2 years ago for a one week vacation and loved it. The location is remote, but easily accessible. We brought our 2 big dogs and it didn't cost much to add them to the bill. The cabin was plenty big for the four of us (we stayed in #4). There were just a handful of issues: 1)...

The Ripple Creek Cabins is a place to go to relax and observe the wonders of alpine nature in any season. In the summer the Trinity Alps Wilderness Area is steps away and there is a swimming hole in the Trinity River adjacent to the property. In winter bring your xc skis, snow shoes and a good book because the...

I booked a week's stay at Ripple Creek Cabins after finding out several of the stays in the Weaverville area were either closed or unavailable. It was by chance and I received a notice from Meghan almost immediately saying those dates were available. A deposit of 200$ was required for the reservation and the rest of the payment later. The...
