Stayed here with three other friends on what has become our annual trip to S.F. to see a Giants game. We love the city but wanted to stay conveniently close. Not in it. The Waters Edge will now be our place. It is situated in the town of Tiburon just north of the Golden Gate bridge. The view is amazing...

For the second year running we have used the Waters Edge for a week-long corporate retreat with up to 20 attendees. The hotel staff provided us with outstanding service, attentive to every detail and with the welcoming ambience of a small, family run hotel. The hotel location is terrific, close to the ferry with great views over the bay and...

Arrived and greeted by friendly & helpful staff. Location was perfect for walking to just about anywhere you needed. Restaurants, shopping or just for a stroll. Evening glass of complimentary wine in the lobby. Back deck on the water with a view of San Francisco. Heaters on the deck for your comfort. Room was awesome. They upgraded us to a...

This is an exceptionally well conceived hotel. The rooms are spacious, clean and very comfortable. The location in Tiberon is perfect. The icing on the cake is the view of the San Fran skyline at night from the common deck, complete with a cozy fire to keep you warm from the brisk evening air. I highly recommend this hotel.

My husband and I stayed here recently and had a mixed experience. The front desk service was great, while the room could have been cleaner and more up-to-date. The rooms seem about ready for a refresh. Breakfast was included and there was a lot to choose from but it was awkward to eat in the room since there wasn't a...

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights during our honeymoon and it could not have been nicer. Intimate setting overlooking the water in a beautiful little town north of San Francisco (Tiburon) - Everything about our stay was terrific - thank you to the staff for everything.

Our family of four stayed here for 5 nights during our visit to S.F. All I can say is that we had the best experience ever! Very very service minded, and friendly staff! We hada big room with excellent beds and a nice fireplace. No views of the bay from our room, but we survived without it. Highlight of the...

My husband and I stayed here after getting the hotel for a great price off a hotels.com. We were extremely pleasantly surprised to find such a wonderful boutique hotel! The staff is attentive and there are nice "extras" such as the wine and cheese every day at 5pm. Our room was very nice albeit not extravagant. We had a beautiful...

My husband and I were in need of a very relaxing weekend and were also attending a wedding in Tiburon. We came to the Bay Area often but tend to stay in San Francisco. This time we opted for Marin county and chose The Water's Edge after reading reviews of several hotels. The hotel is really well located in the...

We purchased our stay here through a Hotwire deal for $140/night. The room was HUGE and beautiful and the deck is indeed fantastic, with views out onto San Francisco. Super comfy bed and Tiburon itself is a lovely town. The only hesitation I have in recommending this hotel is that our room was very noisy. Starting at around 7:30 in...
