Although the staff was friendly, the place needs some upgrading. Our room was musty smelling. I requested queen size beds, but it seemed like the beds were just a full size. When I brought it up to the front desk, I was told they are queen sized, but it was definitely smaller than my queen size bed at home. Twice we smelled marijuana inside, both on the first and second floor. At $308/night I would have expected better accommodations.

How can I rate a Holiday Inn 5 stars? Well when you have staff that's extremely positive, helpful, and caring, then you get a major positive review. is this a 5 star hotel, the answer is no, but for the price, location, and warm welcome, it deserves it. Again, the front staff was amazing, fun, joking, and just a perfect fit during these times. The room is, well you know, just a room, but it didn't feel cramped. There was decent water pressure, and the water was hot quick. The breakfast is not in a paper bag, but what else can you expect? Coffee was decent, and they had flavored creamer, so that's a win. The a/c in the room, the dials were finicky, but again, I was looking for a place to crash after wine tasting. We did hit the jacuzzi, and I would say the water was around 101 degrees, so not a perfect 104 degrees, but it was quiet and nice. They brought out fresh towels for us, and it was a great way to end the staycation. I would recommend the street side as opposed to the freeway side, but it's up to you. I would also recommend walking to Mo's for breakfast, and living life a little. We used to stay at the Chiron Chateau, which included breakfast, but we might make this our new go-to combination. As the room is adequate and the food at Mo's is better, also it's about 50% off of what we were paying.…

I love Holiday Inn Express and have stayed in them all over the world, so it pains me to write this negative review. This hotel is old and looks it. It needs a total makeover, including a new front entrance, which faces the hot, setting sun. As a result, the front doors become unwelcoming slabs of black glass. The owners desperately need to refresh this property. Our room, No. 328, smelled strongly of stale cigarette smoke. We complained and were shown another room down the hall, which also smelled. We stayed where we were but ran the AC all the time to filter the air a little. I mentioned this to the manager, Kathy, as I was leaving and she said that people do smoke in the rooms, despite it being a non-smoking hotel. The sheets on our bed were worn paper-thin by many, many washings and there was a faded stain on my side the first night. The room was dark and the furniture was dated. But the room was clean. The breakfast was typical American HIE fare and was fine. Note to the owners: please invest some money in this hotel and bring it up to HIE standards.…

This is a great value for visiting Temecula. While not in the prime location, it is close enough (actually better if you chose In & out Burger for dinner, as you can walk to it next door). Rooms are reasonable priced. Service is great, as was the breakfast. This is a great value and will will be visiting again.

Stayed here overnight for a girls wine tasting trip. The rooms were very clean and accommodating. There is a decent complimentary breakfast in the mornings. Was very pleased to see Turkey sausage and egg white options. All staff that I encountered was friendly and helpful. It was an added bonus that the rooms have a keurig, microwave and refrigerator. It is located close to wineries and the casino. I would definitely stay again

I booked based on this, printed my confirmation and it says no pets allowed except service animals. Beware - I had to call to cancel. I was supposed to be charged but they were nice enough to waive it.

This is a nice, clean hotel situated perfectly for Old Town and the Wine trail Offered free shuttle service to vineyard which was an unexpected bonus The room and bed were spotlessly clean Staff were great The breakfast was a nice surprise. Hot egg, bacon and sausage as well as other healthier options. The fresh pancake machine was a nice touch Would stay here again when in Temecula

Employees were nice. Room was clean. Most things look dated. Room seemed very dark even with window open. Small sofa in room was killing my back. Breakfast was just ok. For the one night we stayed it served its purpose.

Property is close to Old Town with very adequate parking. Romms were very clean and comfortable. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Check in & out was very easy. We had dinner and breakfast arrangements but they offer a happy hour in the evening and the breakfast went beyond cereal, toast and waffles that you typically find.

We stayed for one night and really enjoyed our stay. Check in was fast and easy and the staff were very friendly. Easy parking and they even had two free drinks at happy hour. It was walking distance to a local Mexican restaurant and to fast food like In and Out burger, Wendy’s and Arby’s. The room was clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was pretty impressive..pancakes you could make yourself, cinnabon rolls, crispy bacon, mini cheese omelette, and juices, yoghurts, cereals and more. Pool area was nice. Close to old town, shopping and more. Really nice stay and would definitely recommend.
