First impression of the room was not good. Old not updated. Small tv that did not work i had to get guest service to come fix it. Wall paper was falling off the walls. Floor piece was coming off. If you have bathroom door open you can not get to the front door. Major safety hazards. I had no towels in my room. The beds are not comfortable what so ever. Breakfast was the worse. My husband had the sausage and egg. Nasty eggs. Definitely low budget breakfast. Definitely not a nice hotel for it being a Marriott. I decided to not stay my 3 days i checked out the next morning. What made it even worse is the manager "Hope" was very rude for no reason i was just asking a pricing question to the front desk when she came out of no where and started shouting and be disrespectful. She has no good customer service what so ever. Very rude and fake lady. I never once yelled or was rude to her for her to just treat me that way. She didn't even care that i was not happy with my stay or that we had no towels in our room. I will never stay at this location again.…

Had a great time staying here for the holidays to visit with my family. I am a local but we had decided to celebrate Christmas here as I no one in my family wanted to host. Only complaint is pool isnt heated (Cold), other than that everything else was great!

I would like to comment Junious at the front desk for being so courteous, friendly and helpful. He interacted with us professionally and always had a smile on his face. When we got home, I realized I had left my reading glasses in the room and he told me how to prepare an address label, email him the info and, my glasses were back home in two days. First I want to make sure I point out that the service and people where super nice. But the hotel is at no level to be part of the Marriott group. It is dirty and mold is everywhere. We stayed over the weekend for a soccer tournament, the the price per night was already insane. But ok, I am willing to pay for it but expect a hotel that has a certain standard. The AC didn't work at all, therefore the room just smelled horrible. There was mold in the shower corners and the vent in the bathroom shouldn't pass any hygiene test. Marriott should audit that one immediately or just take it out of their list.

Over the weekend, my family traveled to Temecula for a weekend of soccer and fun. I have never been to Temecula and have hear ravishing things about the city and surrounding wine country. We booked our stay at Fairfield Inn and Suites (Marriott: Link to hotel with the assumption that Marriot hotels are typically a safe (Location and Rooms) place to stay. We arrived at the location and were greeted by very nice hotel staff. I will say the only thing keeping this place afloat are the nice people who work there. Every employee I met with nice and courteous. When we got into our hotel room the room wasn’t so nice. The room was stuffy, so I went to turn on the AC/Fan and noticed the wall thermostat was not working. By the time we noticed this, I figure we could make it to the morning to get it fixed instead of waking up my kid. Plus I was exhausted from driving and just wanted to go to bed. During this time, I noticed so many things wrong with the room. Here was the list of things wrong with the room and hotel. Mind you, if I only paid $125/night, I would expect this but not a rate of $300/night. 1. AC/Fan unit not working 2. Freezer in room was iced over 3. Frig was old and made a lot of noise at nighttime 4. There was no plug in the tub to take a bath 5. Clock was broken 6. No duvet cover on one of the beds 7. Gym equipment was old, and half of the electronics did not work (including TV) 8. TV Remote batteries were being held in by a piece of black duct tape 9. Handicap rail in the bathroom is loose and unsteady 10. Wallpaper was peeling off all the bathroom walls 11. When I asked for new bath towels, they provided pool towels 12. “Hot” Breakfast was terrible. a. Eggs and sausage only. On the second day they ran out of plastic wears So, after the first night, I told the front desk about the first 4 things on this list as they were the most important and knew trying to fix them all wasn’t probably reasonable. They told me maintenance would look at it. I said, great we will be gone for 5 hours and would expect some things to be fixed upon my return. They stated it would not be a problem. When I arrived back at the hotel, I noticed none of the things were fixed. I went to the front desk and spoke to the same young female I had reported the issues too. She told me maintenance went into the room and fixed everything. I said B.S. She told me she would have maintenance come down right away to take a look. A short time later, maintenance arrived. He was a very nice man. I asked if he was in my room earlier to fix the things I provided the front desk and he said, “no”. So he looked at the AC and was not able to fix the AC unit, but mentioned he just started working there. He was able to get the fan turned on at the AC unit itself. He told me there are so many issues with the hotel, they need to remodel most of the rooms. He is constantly busy. So in a nutshell the front desk lied about my room getting fixed. A simple, we were busy, or an apology would have been acceptable, but to lie is not. I attempted to get my night compensated for due to the hotel not providing the service it advertised when I booked the room. I am very disappointed in this hotel and Marriott. When I book hotels with Marriott, I always expect well-maintained rooms and facilities I will never stay at this hotel again and I will be telling everyone else not to stay at this hotel until there is a remodel or they lower their prices.…

It was a good experience at this hotel. It is well located with plenty of dining options within walking distance. There is strip mall across the street. It can be a good option to visit the local wineries in the region. The room was clean and linens were fresh. Parking is free. The front desk is friendly and the morning breakfast is served. The people were friendly in this hotel.

Fairfield Inn Temecula is a clean, well-located property however the employees and management seem to fumble execution. No housekeeping, even though they offered and I requested it. Broken TV that I had to request engineering to fix the next day. This is why hotels usually have the TV on when you enter the room to insure the thing functions correctly One washcloth in bathroom, which is totally unacceptable Formica veneer peeling the closet door Small TV… about the size of a computer monitor The breakfast hostesses that work here provided one of the few highlight of my short stay. Another positive aspect of the rooms here is the lack of carpeting Hotel room carpets are unsanitary in my opinion because who really knows what nastiness is trapped in there? The only way one knows if carpet is really clean is if the carpet is white, like that in the rooms at Wynn Las Vegas. The move away from carpeted rooms is refreshing and long overdue. The general manager did make an effort to make things right for housekeeping missing my room by comping some points to my Bonvoy account; however, facing an unmade bed after a long day is a deal-breaker for me. I was concerned by the reviews, but decided to forge ahead since it was only a one night stay. For my particular date, prepaid was 1/3 off making it a great rate AND it was $1 to go from a room to a "suite". The suite is an interesting design, and there is no way to close off the space between the living and sleeping, but it is a nice layout with two TV's and reasonably comfortable, especially for a Fairfield. As mentioned, the property is dated and could use a renovation. They have done a "refresh" and the holes are still in the walls from the things they removed. Our room faced the interstate but was amazingly quiet. It does seem to have good quality windows. When I first logged in to the internet, it was SO slow it would leave you longing for the days of AOL dial up. However, I logged out and then logged back in and it was a faster and tolerable connection. The worse part for me was breakfast. Your choices are muffins or oatmeal and I do not eat either. Marriott stated that breakfast was returning to all properties July 1st, but this still has the pandemic feel of barely offering anything. Funny thing is at check in, she gave me the breakfast hours and said "we have quite a few choices". I guess she meant flavors of muffins. I mostly plan on their not being a breakfast everywhere now, and if there is a decent one it is a bonus that gets them a point up on my review. The room was a cracker box. Small, but clean. Style and ambience is not what you come to this property for. I did, however, feel that it was a great value for the money and that the young people who work here give me great hope for the future! I got to know the young front desk 'kids' by first name and they were so kind, warm, and accommodating that I feel that 4 stars is deserved because of the extra mile that each of them went to make me feel welcome. Lauren, Shannon, Wayne, and Matthew answered every question, gave directions that Siri would envy, suggested conveniences, and all in all, made my stay enjoyable. Having said that...don't be too disappointed with the rooms. They are small and they are spartan, but I would definitely stay again.

What can you say about a place that has its front door locked to guest at noon! A place where the Wi-Fi is not responsive for days. Where the cable goes out for 2 of a 3 day stay and its just happens to be football Saturday & Sunday! Beds are not the most comfortable and a pad they have under the sheets make them more uncomfortable. How about the fact that there is no soundproofing so you can hear your neighbors, the folks up & down the hall, so loud that all the cars & revving motorcycle engines sound like in 3D and because it's a weekend all of the party people that have spent the day at the local wineries are now coming into your room loud & clear! I did not see any protective measures in the small gym or in the pool...not good. Parking is an issue if you arrive after dark. How about the fact that no breakfast is being served...only 1 small pot of coffee for the entire place no tea, no hot water, no tea, no cups, nothing! Let's blame it on Covid19 and have the gall to tell me good luck finding a hotel that is serving breakfast anywhere.... many are including the ones right down the road!…
