As you wind your way up the vineyard-lined entrance to the Chateau and Winery, the stately 40-foot high Grand Lobby Rotunda, perched atop 11 acres of estate vineyards, comes into view. Once inside the Grand Lobby, descend the marble staircase and enter the wine tasting bar where the aromas of aging wine tantalize your senses and entice you to spend time savoring the wine tasting experience with the award-winning wines of Churon. Take time to stroll the grounds and enjoy the sun-drenched vista views of the Temecula Valley, and the majestic snow-capped mountains in the distance. Early morning hot air balloons float high above the Chateau and surrounding vineyards, offering early-risers a sense of serenity and peacefulness. “Come away with us” and settle in to your private vineyard view room or expansive suite with both offering luxury amenities such as in-room fireplaces, oversized marble bathrooms with baths for two and separate showers, private terraces or balconies overlooking the vineyards, and relish in the intimacy that is the hallmark of the Inn At Churon Winery.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Robert at reservations is wonderful. He goes above and beyond to accommodate guests at this beautiful hotel. The breakfasts are excellent. The views outstanding. The rooms spacious with fireplaces and lanai's or balconies. All makes this a great place to stay when in the area.

The inn at the winery was lovely. We had no reservation and the staff went out of their way to accommodate us. The real breakfast was an added plus. We also greatly appreciated the free glass of wine.

The Churon Winery room was a treat beyond my expectations. Staff were kind, patient, and accomodating. Parking is room close, and rooms are a clean delight. Not the new plastic furnished place, huge high four poster bed was very beautifully made with crisp white sheets, French country decor, fireplace, and all viewed out french doors to my private patio. Just beyond the huge social patio, lined with comfortable seating ateas, paths down to tastings, thrpugh grapevines, out to an incredible 180 degree view across the winery hills, I could view from the bed, or table and chairs on my patio, just spectacular! Most beautiful bath I've ever had in any room, with a full spa tub, two sinks, and a huge shower. Included breakfast is served to order in the nearby dining room. I had eggs florentine, poached to perfection, on fresh spinach, and tomato, with fresh fruit, country potatoes, crispy edged English muffin, topped with hollandise. Coffee, and juice choices served as well. At night there's wine, and snacks, cannot wait to go again.

My mom and I came for one night and the room was spacious and beautiful! It was right before Easter and in our room, was a big Easter egg with a $50 gift card!it was such a nice gesture! We were shocked. LOL. We enjoyed the big bath tub and the gift card was icing on the cake!(:

Our second floor room was roomy and cozy with a warm fireplace and comfortable beds. The bathroom was huge with a soaking tub and walk in shower and the view from the patio was beautiful. All of the staff were helpful and kind and their wines are quite good. Breakfast was also very tasty and the waitstaff were awesome. Highly recommended.

we didn't look around for another place since we enjoyed it just a few months ago. Another great visit with a super clean room, great tub and a lovely patio overlooking the vineyard. The thermostat does not allow for adjustment below a certain temperature. We were too hot and considered sleeping with patio door open but thought an animal might visit. Staff was not as nice as last time.

Pros: Convenient if attending an event at Churon Winery, spacious and comfortable guest room with huge bathroom, wonderful bed. Cons: Expensive, breakfast experience not a pleasant one, too many small details needing attention. Despite not being big drinkers, it was convenient being able to get to our room in less than a minute following the conclusion of the wedding that brought us to Churon. It was also nice having a huge bathroom in which to get ready for the event, and we determined the high nightly rate for the room was worth the ease of the experience, not to mention the fireplace and whirlpool tub. It's too bad other aspects didn't measure up, starting with small details like the tile floor in the bathroom becoming extremely slippery with water, a lack of furniture on which to sit, no room-darkening shades behind the sheer curtains, and the HVAC not allowing the temperature to be set below 70 degrees (because some people like to sleep in cold rooms). The free breakfast was even more of a hassle. The waiter acted as if leaving certain ingredients out of an omelette was a problem, then told us it wasn't, then returned with omelettes that were not as ordered. It took about 45 minutes for our meals to arrive (not good when having to depart for the airport an hour away) and when done there was no way to leave a tip on the room bill (despite a $100 hold for incidentals) and no on-site ATM from which to withdraw cash. Our night at the inn wasn't unpleasant, but considering the price paid it definitely left us wanting more.

We really thought they had thought of everything. The room was equipped with anything you could need. The only thing you might need is bubble bath salts for the deep tub in the bathroom. Parking was easy. Staff were pleasant and friendly.

Unfortunately. For some reason the staff seemed highly strung and it didn’t feel welcoming. The lady at the front desk was training another lady who was catching on quickly but the trainer was giving her information in front of us. I don’t need to learn so that info needed to be imparted in private and then you monitor her in front of the guest. When the guest leaves, you correct any shortcomings and re-educate. My check-in process needs to be consistent no matter what in-house processes are going on. As we were early, we decided to go downstairs for wine tasting. Coming from a wine country myself, my expectations were quiet high. “Because everything is supposed to be better in America”…or at least that’s what Americans think:) We utilized our complimentary glass of wine offer. The lady behind the bar pointed us to the menu, walked away. Returned in a few minutes and asked if we’re ready. We chose without any recommendations or suggestions. No knowledge or information was given. I even had to ask what varietal the farm specializes in and what the vintage of my choice was. The next morning at breakfast, the waiter kept getting confused with the table numbers so… you can imagine. At checkout there was a charge in error from breakfast due to the waiter not knowing his table/room numbers. The bed was comfortable though.

We had the deluxe king room for a 4 night stay,,, Nice room with the patio opening onto the outdoor deck of the winery. Comfortable bed and large bathroom. Room has a fireplace and an oversized tub. What the room doesn't have is 2 chairs which is not really great for 2 seniors. On the last night, we returned after 8:00 and discovered our key would not open either the external door or our room, Lobby closed at 8:00pm and could find no one to help. Calling the hotel number only went to "leave a message". The gate separating the guest rooms from the lobby was closed with an iron gate. After about 40 minutes of searching, I found the emergency number, hidden behind a wind rack (see picture) Once let into our room I discovered the second key also did not work.. The responding person made us new keys. When checking out, i found the front desk was aware of the problem we had. When we checked in a $100 charge was made to my card for incidentals. The desk person tells me she will reverse the incidental charge only to discovered someone had already processed the reversal the day before. Told me I was lucky and I would get the money back 1 day sooner. In my opinion, they also checked me out at that time ad the keys were cancelled. The emegercy number was also listed in the room, and it doesn't help if you're locked out. Also listed in the packet the keys came in, but I never carry the packet with me. If you lose a key with a packet showing the hotel and room number you run the risk of finding your room empty when you return. I think the hotel should place the emergency number on the gate to the lobby because that is the first place you will go when you have a problem. It would have also helped the guests in another room who had water dripping from the ceilinged had the fire department help. But, THAT is another story
