I booked a corner suite for my husband's 40th birthday, since we had tickets to the Wine & Chocolate Festival that weekend, which was held at the casino. My expectation was that I would have mountain view, based on the photos from booking online. When I got there, our room had a parking lot view and I was upset because the room was $450 for one night and that's a lot to pay for a view of the parking lot. I notified the concierge via text (they assign you a personal concierge to communicate with) and within 30 min they switched me to a room that matched my expectation. I was extremely grateful that they took care of this. The new room was GORGEOUS, so spacious and well-appointed. The bathrooms are to-die for with rain showers, and giant soaking tubs. The decor is just beautiful. So clean, and new.

Bath products were on point - they provided not only the standard shampoo/conditioner/lotion, which was high end and smelled heavenly, but they also provided a dental kit with toothbrush, toothpaste and mouthwash, bath salts, a rubber ducky for the tub, makeup remover wipes, shower caps, and more.

The rooms are smart rooms, so you don't have to turn on any lights.

We ordered room service and got carne asada quesadillas, nachos and 2 bottles of wine. The quesadilas were huge and stuffed with meat. Our wine was reasonably priced at $28/bottle.

The restaurants at the casino were diverse and all looked great. We will explore those more next time we stay.

Only complaints were the Cove pool area was under construction, and they had posted on the website that it would be open by our stay date. Also the valets don't carry change, so after paying $5 to use the ATM in the casino, we weren't able to tip our valet because he and none of his work colleagues had change (supposedly.) I had to carry my own luggage and open my own doors so I wasn't going to give him $20. Felt really bad about that, but carry change next time!

We will come back with our kiddos to take advantage of that this summer. Highly recommend.

A very nice hotel and casino. Stayed at the resort tower (newer than the casino tower).Good thing I booked a room at the resort tower as my seminar ended up on the lobby level at the resort tower. It is quite a walk from the resort tower to the casino tower.
The room is quite spacious. USB outlets on the desk and by the beds. We stayed in a room with 2 queen beds. Double sinks in the bathroom. Shower (no tub) only. Separate room for the toilet. Coffee/tea maker. Safe deposit box. Small refrigerator full of drinks. If you open the refrigerator, you'll be automatically charged even if you decide not to drink any. Quiet air conditioning and heating unit. The negative part is water temperature in the shower room is not consistent. It's cold one second and hot another so it's not comfortable to take a shower. Also the room is quite dark. I supposed you can open the curtain but you cannot see the screen if you're working on your computer. Free Wi-fi. Free parking.
Also, noise level is not the best as you can hear guests talking from the hallway.
The lobby is very nice and food in their restaurants are pretty good. Not cheap but still reasonable. There's a food court but we did not eat there. A long walk from the resort tower. There's a security guy by the elevator so you'll need to show your key card before taking the elevator. Overall it's a very nice hotel and casino.

This is a very nice casino, clean, an excellent place to have fun, and at this time of health concerns they really took measures to minimize contagious, they take their time to take everybody's temperature before entering in a way you can see yourself and your temperature reading. I also observed employees make sure guests are wearing masks the proper way and they ask you to do so if you are not. They have turned off every other slot machine, plexi glass where needed, and very important, no smoking to avoid people to remove their masks.
This casino really cares about their guests and their safety.

First time to Pechanga Casino and it was a good experience during this Covid 19 pandemic. Good getaway for the weekend. The casino was so clean, sanitizer available everywhere, restaurant was so safe and social distancing was strictly mandatory when playing. CDC guidelines was followed.

First time staying at Pechanga Resort and Casino, I have to say how please I am of the hospitality. Just know if you are not part of the tribe or don’t hold a gold card check in for regular peeps are 4pm!

The room was clean and thankfully, we were put in the resort tower with great views. No need to pack shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion. They got you covered with L’Occitane En Provence amenities. Actually, the conditioner wasn’t the best, so plan to pack that. The shower is a façade it may look beautiful from the inside but the shower pressure is terrible.

The casino itself is clean but the machines are tight. Have fun and don’t go spending all your life’s earning here or even a paycheck.

There are a total of 10 restaurants in Pechanga including in room dining not including the food court which has 6 restaurants. There are also 3 bars and 2 coffee shops! On top of the restaurants if one wants to go shopping you can do that too! I want to say they try and make most things here affordable and can accommodate anyone’s price range.

The spa was beautiful from the outside and was given a quick tour while at the gym. The gym is sufficient for a good work out with a total of 10 different cardio machines. Aside from getting your cardio on maybe consider walking inside and outside the facility! There is so much to do and so little time to do things.

Pechanga has earned Four Diamond status every year since its opening in 2002 from AAA. I look forward to coming back for the amenities and mayyybe gambling well, that depends on how lucky I am that day!

We stayed here while visiting friends. The new tower was beautiful and exceptional. The bedding was wonderful. There was a luxurious shower rather than a tub. High toilet seat and nice towels. The room in the resort tower was not large but it was very comfortable. The facility is very large and it’s always to the resort tower for check in. I rented a motorized electric scooter for $35 for 24 hours which was wonderful. I kept it in our room. The bell service was super as was the valet. Check out was by far the best of any hotel we’ve been to. We look forward to another visit.

First, the good things: Hotel is glitzy, rooms are attractive, food is excellent.
Second, the bad things: Casino per Google is most number of slots, highest revenue in California, lowest payout on slots in California, lowest payer of employees in California.

The result: Slot machines, you can only deposit, no withdrawals possible. Really. Worst machines ever experienced. Hotel is significantly understaffed. No housekeeping at all while you are in the room, no matter how many days. Major café only has 2 or max 3 waiters/waitresses and 36 tables. Wait times is 30 to 45 minutes. Parking is remote, no valet services post Pandemic.

Worse thing: Hotel charges you will items in honor bar when you never even opened a door. Honor bars not fully stocked so you get charged for what prior guests consumed.

Check your Hotel bill carefully: I was charged for a dinner in the Cafe for $101 and I paid (and provided proof) using my Debit Card and then the hotel also charged me on my check-out bill. It then took me 3 days and email copy of my debit receipt to get the right bill issued to AMEX.

Lots of glitz, but you will pay for it with non-existent slot payouts, long waits to eat, no housekeeping services.

Scrapbook Series, Part 10
Based solely upon the scrapbook pages for April, how many guesses do you think you’d need to guess where we went this month? While we knew we were starting our adventure with the Scratchers that Cathie provided, clearly we needed to “double down” just in case immediate fortune was not today’s destiny. With that foresight in mind, we agreed to meet at Pechanga Resort Casino.

That back-up plan proved useful as our collaborative scratching efforts failed to deliver the windfall we were seeking.

Cathie invited @jt3ruiz to join us as her good luck charm and that was a strong move as Cathie had separate payouts of $257 and $590. ☺️

Although I’m just a rookie at this, her good fortune flowed downhill to me. I was “feeling it” so I dropped $20 and at one point was riding such a “hot hand” that I had to roll up my sleeves just before receiving an $11 payout! (Work with me people, I’m new at this.) Sure, I ended up losing all of my twenty bucks, but it took more than 26 minutes before all my money was gone! Clearly with a little practice I’ll soon be competing on @wsop! (Yeah, I can hear the collective groan from the back of the room and those imploring me to not “quit my day job” just yet. Haters, gonna hate, I guess. 🙄)

It had been more than 30 years since I set foot in a casino and I was surprised that I detected zero cigarette smoke and that some of the roulette and craps tables were fully automated (with no dealer). If that level of automation isn’t your “deal”, not to fear because they also offer a full complement of traditional card and dice games.

The resort also offers a hotel, more than a dozen different dining options, a theater, a spa, a gas station, an 18 hole golf course, an RV resort, and plenty of free parking.

Finally, and this may have just been my imagination, but I sure felt like if you listen closely enough to the lyrics of the songs they play you can hear a nearly imperceptible gambling thread to connect each song. As just a representative sample, check out Fergie “Clumsy”, Rob Thomas “Her Diamonds”, and Maroon 5 “What Lovers Do” and share your thoughts with me.

And that’s…Henry’s Take.

Back in January 10-12, our group enjoyed a memorable stay, gambling, a friends reunion, birthday celebrations and a Saturday concert with the "Fab Four". Pre-COVID19, there was too much smoking in the casino, which hopefully has been resolved, before the hotel reopens. The valets & bell captains (Roolo) were very helpful, upon our arrival & departure, helping our group with the luggage and the cars were ready for loading. Other than the smoking issues,, we have always had memorable stays with our friends. Its the best Casino resort with just an hour's drive from the Irvine, Tustin area by the 91 and 15 freeways.

Stayed for two nights at the end of December 2019. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff are extraordinary. We ate at the buffet which was great, the lobby grill which was great and the Asian restaurant in the lobby which was fantastic. The staff was attentive and when they realized it was my birthday they brought me a nice piece of carrot cake. Can't wait to go back!
