My husband and I live in San Diego county and booked a room for a quick weekend getaway. I was a bit shocked at the room prices ($332 with AAA discount) but decided to splurge. Based on the rate I had high expectations for both service and comfort. Both were satisfactory for a room at half that rate, but extremely disappointing for the price we paid. First poor experience - I called to request an early check-in (regular check-in time is 4pm, which in my experience for a big hotel is on the late side). They wanted an additional $100! Pass. After checking in, we went to our room. It was decent, but nothing to write home about. What really bothered me was the sign in the bathroom telling me if I took the toiletries (less than 1/2 full bottles of L'Occtaine soap, lotion, etc.) that I would be charged $22+ per bottle. For a room at this price point this just felt very stingy and irritated me, especially after the pricey early check-in request. That night, crawling into bed, I was further disappointed by the quality of the linens. They were like sandpaper - stiff and rough. I've slept on better linens at $100/night hotels. On top of that, the pillow were lumpy. Needless to say, neither my husband or I slept very well. The one nice thing about the room was the shower - spacious and well desinged. Will I stay at Pechanga again? Not likely unless I can get a deal for a lot less money. …
Got married close by, over 30 guests stayed at the hotel with us. Night if our wedding we couldn't get into our suite. Was told "wait in line to get it fixed" what the f. My bride laying on the floor hallway for close to an hour, not one person has reached out for an apology or a remedy. Complete and utter disrespect for your paying guests. 2 other guests of our wedding had the same issue. Will never recommend this place to anyone we know in OC to use for any event or any trips. Go to Vegas instead
Machine is all sleeping just feeding it no jackpot because they have crappy items to players that worth 5 dollar and they are collecting 5,000 per item they give don’t come be wish all casino like to think you going to win but they just want to profit from suckers like u and me
Stayed for 3 nights in a suite at Pechanga Resort. If you think casino hotels will be reasonably priced so that they can attract gamblers to their facility, that is definitely NOT the case here. Check-in was an arduous process. At 245pm on a weekday, there were 9 people in line ahead of me and only 2 clerks working, both of whom seemed frazzled and untrained. By the time I got to the front of the line at 330pm, I was told that I would need to pay $50 extra to check in early for 30 minutes!! I refused of course but then when I went back at 4pm to their UNMANNED "Key Pick-up counter", I was told the room would not be ready until 430pm. SOOOO, don't you think they should now pay me back $50 for the late check-in??? HAHH!! Of course not! The restaurant prices at this resort were utterly ridiculous. PLEASE please please go outside the resort to get your food. There are a myriad of decent restaurants in the surrounding area. The Cove Pool complex was closed, something that should have been communicated during the reservation process. There were no To Go cups for the in room coffee. There was no bathrobe in the room. For a suite??? Really? There was a sign in the bathroom about management charging you for the toiletries if you take them with you? Just TACKY!! There was an unmistakable sewer smell in the bathroom that could not be alleviated even with perfume. OVERALL, just an absolutely trashy, low class establishment that I would never stay in again! Ugh! …
This Casino and Hotel is beautiful. I think it is the nicest casino overall in southern California LA/IE area. The views are magnificent as well as the design. The gaming floor is great with a bunch of great games and bars. The hotel is seperated from the gaming floor which I actually really like. You can enter the hotel area without ever setting foot in the gaming floor thanks to a beautiful lobby. The pool was closed when we went but it did look very nice. Pechanga is a great place to stay and play in Temecula. Unlike other casinos in the area, Pechanga is in a great destination with a lot to do right around the corner. Essentially, you don't have to stay in Pechanga the whole night. If a rewards member, I would suggest taking advantage of those free nights just to have a place to stay after a day of Wine Tasting.…
First time staying at Pechanga Resort and Casino, I have to say how please I am of the hospitality. Just know if you are not part of the tribe or don’t hold a gold card check in for regular peeps are 4pm! The room was clean and thankfully, we were put in the resort tower with great views. No need to pack shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion. They got you covered with L’Occitane En Provence amenities. Actually, the conditioner wasn’t the best, so plan to pack that. The shower is a façade it may look beautiful from the inside but the shower pressure is terrible. The casino itself is clean but the machines are tight. Have fun and don’t go spending all your life’s earning here or even a paycheck. There are a total of 10 restaurants in Pechanga including in room dining not including the food court which has 6 restaurants. There are also 3 bars and 2 coffee shops! On top of the restaurants if one wants to go shopping you can do that too! I want to say they try and make most things here affordable and can accommodate anyone’s price range. The spa was beautiful from the outside and was given a quick tour while at the gym. The gym is sufficient for a good work out with a total of 10 different cardio machines. Aside from getting your cardio on maybe consider walking inside and outside the facility! There is so much to do and so little time to do things. Pechanga has earned Four Diamond status every year since its opening in 2002 from AAA. I look forward to coming back for the amenities and mayyybe gambling well, that depends on how lucky I am that day!…
The casino is clean, the staff has always been friendly and the food is good in the hotel cafe. In the main casino cafeteria I usually get the 3 combo chinese food plate. I haven't played any card tables at all. The slot machines are a different story. I've never won anything big. To be honest the slot machines are extremely tight and I take my time playing them. Had my 11th visit over the last few years and have lost over $2,167.00. My visit just a few days ago had a significant loss. This is playing no more than an $1.80 bet. My first slot machine took $440.00 in before it gave a mediocre $6.60 bonus win. Quite sad honestly. The entire day was like this with $60 to $100 in on quite a few machines with very small wins. This will be my final visit for slot playing at Pechanga. I've never experienced such poor payouts at other casinos. Should my friends go back I will enjoy the food though. No more slot play for me while there. You can't win all the time except I've lost more at Pechanga than anywhere else.…
Go to Morongo or Commerce. No Texas holdem available, they say this is because of covid which is a lame excuse. The only table games are $20 min blackjack and poker style games that highly favor the house. We had three misdeals at these games which the floor ruled for the casino everytime. While waiting in line for drinks two different groups of guys tried to start a fight for no reason. Unfortunate to plan a trip around a terrible
We stayed at pechanga hotel so we could play and enjoy the slot machines and ended up losing more than the free room we got. Machines are super tight and playing these machines with no bonuses or rolls was so depressing. You could see other guest lining up on the atm machines to withdraw money and not cashing out. I regret not going to valley view. Goodbye pechanga hotel and casino. 2 weeks in a row with very tight slot machines is not a happy place to be!
We spent two nights at Pechanga - the Cove pool complex is very nice - the hotel room was excellent - and the casino is huge - our only negative is that guests need to plan on a lot of walking. The main parking garage for hotel guests and casino patrons is far enough from the entrance that there are two sections of moving walkway as one would find between terminals in major airports. There are many restaurants - we found breakfast at the 1882 Casino good and had a great pizza at Kelsey’s sports bar - this resort rivals the size of the large casinos on the Vegas strip
