I stayed at Four Points Sheraton SFO recently for a business trip. The room, food, and service were all up to Marriott standards. I was also able to enjoy the bar and the bartender Justin made me feel welcome. Great stay and recommended!
My stay at the Sheraton was great, staff was awesome but the highlight of my trip was Justin at the bar. Super cool guy with good conversation. Just what I needed after a stressful day. Thanks Sheraton
I am a Marriott Brand Loyalist and wanted to try this newer family member brand. This isn’t my favorite edition to the family but the room was clean, spacious and well appointed. Lighting was lacking but the TV, larger spacious bathroom was well lighted with nice toiletries but i get they were geared to the male traveler. I got a great spot when I arrived early afternoon but when I returned at about 8:39 from a meeting I parked in the garage and the only spots available were in a large puddle of water ....which I couldn’t identify as rain water since it wasn’t raining, it was deep enough to wet the bottom of my pants. Desk staff response was “yeah that’s normal”. Bar tender was nice but was more interested in the woman he knew at the end of the bar. Price was decent. This is seems like it is an older hotel by the layout, slow elevator and location. It gave a 80s vibe. They did a decent job renovating Rooms are good. Would I stay again. Yes for a quick trip and early morning flight it was convenient. …
I like to stay in hotels once a month this month I choose this hotel when I saw the cheek in are I was a little disappointed look different of what I'm used to they gave me a room it was clean smells great they bed amazing comfortable. the only thing was my view looking at the trash can but immediate Marie at the front desk took care of that issue I really love that they think of customer service first please make sure if you ever visit the four points by Sheraton see this amazing lady Marie My beautiful view now thanks to her
I arrived a bit later than I wanted, parking my car in the small lot right next to the hotel. I had gotten a notification in the app that I had been upgraded which was a pleasant surprise! Once I got to the hotel, I was greeted by a super nice woman at the front desk who quickly gave me my key and pointed me towards the elevators. Upon arriving at my room, I opened the door and saw a staircase. I was upgraded to a two-floor suite with two beds, bathrooms, TVs... you get the idea. Never in my wildest dreams did I expect this so I was thrilled! I danced around, rolled in the beds, ran up and down the stairs... the room was clean and looked so welcoming. The only odd part was the view of the highway but hey, not everything can be a beach. So, I was happy as a clam! For a moment, I thought I had found my new staycation hotel. However, in the morning, I was woken up by housekeeping around 9am. I planned to spend the staycation sleeping in so it was a bummer. They were just doing their jobs so I kindly told them I was still in the room and put the "Do Not Disturb" sign up. I decided to sleep Part II, quickly checking my app to make sure I had 4pm checkout. At noon, I woke up again to pounding on the door. This time it wasn't housekeeping, but another member of the staff. He yelled at me through the door "Uh. When are you planning to leave!?" It was suddenly like I wasn't welcome. I was still in bed to I yelled out, "4pm" but he yelled back "There's no 4pm checkout" in a very rude tone. I looked at my app and sure enough, it still said "you are all good for 4pm checkout!" so I was really confused. The man finally yelled "Call the front desk and sort this out." My grand plans to catch up on sleep (I had gotten minimal hours all week) was at this point no longer possible as I rushed to call the front desk. I tried 3 times and couldn't get through. I then used the app but didn't get a reply. Finally, I called Marriott who transferred me. Everything was sorted as they confirmed all Platinum members have 4pm check out but at this point it was 1pm and my staycation was ruined since I was rushing around and no longer able to fall back to sleep. I specifically booked the room to get a full day of rest, so being woken up and made to feel unwelcome was really a downer. I wish that when I informed the staff I had a 4pm checkout, they could have helped me sort it rather than demanding I sort it at the front desk, but I was able to solve my own problem... it just didn't make my stay as relaxing as I hoped it would be.…
