We enjoyed our experience at this hotel.

We rented one of the wooden houses, which was new, quiet, clean and comfortable with nice smell of wood.

The hotel is well located in the Polish mountains and the surrounding views were amazing. The feel of nature was all around.

The dishes at the hotel restaurant were tasty. We chose to be served breakfast at our wooden house.

This place is given for long walks in the woods and mountains. It is also not far from Zakopane (around 50 min by car) which is worth a visit.

We absolutely loved our stay again. The spa is fantastic, with massages and high quality cosmetics. The outdoor pool is also a big plus with a great view. The restaurant serves a selection of tasty meals. Rooms are spacious and clean and very tastefully decorated. The hotel has its unique feel and is a total come back place for us!
See you next time!

Had such an romantic trip. This place was magic! Quit, rustic with a modern touch.Even my boyfriend who is not into these kinds of getaways had such a great time. We couldn't have had a more relaxed and peacful weekend. Highly recommended for a nice getaway. The spa, had everything you would need to forget about all the stress of your daily life. Thank you for bring the magic back into our relationship, really a great trip.

It’s a 2 star pension disguised as 4 star hotel. Cheaply done with very questionable design and rather average staff. No attention to detail at all. Rooms lack for practical side like closets, wardrobes, armchairs.
All area is rather not inviting for relaxation.
Cuisine was very good though!

The stay started off poorly, with reservation problems. That's likely of least interest to potential guests, so i put it at the bottom. It also ended poorly, so read on.

The hotel is situated in a quiet area of Southern Poland, surrounded by mountains, fields and forests. It is very tranquil. The rooms and common areas are in fresh wood planks, and there are fireplaces throughout. Floor to ceiling glass is commonplace. The grounds are also nice, though limited to parking areas, and a pool surrounded by glass, with a smaller "jacuzzi" that isn't a jacuzzi but simply a smaller pool of water.

The single biggest complaint was the lack of hot water. Both mornings we tried to take a bath, and were unable to, due to the lack of hot water. This is unacceptable. Our package also had a "wine bath" at the spa. This too was cold, and we were unable to add more hot water, as it had also been used up in the evening.

The restaurant is pleasant enough, with a nice view. We ordered the Chef's recommendation. The appetizer, main course, and desert arrived in rapid succession, suggesting they had been previously prepared. Tomato soup as standard as could be, alternatively dry/crunch slices of goose on top of a huge bed of grains. The tiramisu was great. The wine menu is short, but of good quality, and quite expensive. The staff placed our wine in a bucket of water at another table and left it there for us to stand up and refill ourselves the whole evening.

The spa area is the best part of the hotel. The indoor pool is heated, and very pleasant. Note there are no separate adult and children zones, and the first night we were there we shared the pool with young children in floaties. There is a dry sauna that was on constantly, and a steam one that was on intermittently, and required us to ask for it to be started.

The massage area is elegant, and the staff talented. The best part of the stay was our massages. We had a regular "relaxation" massage, as well as a hot stone massage.

The sinks in the restrooms throughout are not secured to their pedestals, and wobble freely.

The lock mechanism to our room would jam each time, forcing us to kick or shoulder-ram it to open/close it.

The refrigerator either did not work, or was set to room temperature. (It was filled with single-serving items for sale so we didn't bother).

We had a bottle of wine pre-ordered for our arrival. It was found sitting in a bucket of lukewarm water. Add ice/replace it prior to the guests arrival, people.

The water throughout the complex has a strong sulfur/copper odor. I first thought this was some sort of "mineral" feature in the sauna, but all 3 heads in the sauna had them, as did every other faucet in the hotel that we used, including in our room. It became tiring.

Breakfast is a standard continental buffet, no complaints. But i must add that the coffee (we ordered latte both mornings) that they make on order is fantastic!

RESERVATION PROBLEMS

I received a coupon to visit from a friend. I called several weeks earlier to book, and provided the name of the person who purchased it. The receptionist found the reservation, and informed me this was a standard room, with additional packages (dinner, massage, wine bath, aperitif, etc). I requested an additional night in the same room, without any package and they obliged. The day of my arrival i dug out the coupon, and saw that the coupon was for a suite, and not standard room. I called ahead and they said there were no suites left, i can have the regular room, and this is my fault for not confirming their information "since most of the coupons we sell are for standard rooms".

Irritated, i arrived and was informed again that this was my fault. They offered desert as compensation. I said that was a joke. They offered a discount of 100zl for the second night (690PLN to 590PLN). I informed the receptionist that if i wanted a discount, i would have bought it on booking.com, where the price was currently 568PLN. More arguing ensues, and this continues to be my fault. I emailed management, who graciously apologized for the problem, and assured me they would contact the buyer to refund them the difference in price. This was nearly two weeks ago, and nobody has contacted him.

Our coupon also included "aperitifs" before dinner. We arrived for our aperitifs, and the staff presented three plates of leftover coldcuts from breakfast, dry canapes and sliced carrots. After waiting for 10 minutes, i went to ask about our drinks. The receptionist kindly educated me that aperitif means appetizer, not drinks. We left. I e-mailed management and they argued as well.

On our way to one of our massage sessions, we overheard staff gossiping about us. When we checked in for our massage, my fiancee suggested a relaxing massage for me. The spa therapist responded snarkily that "i noticed".

CONCLUSION

There are many hidden spa retreats throughout southern Poland. This one has recently come to light apparently because of its popularity with Polish TV personalities that are photographed and placed on the walls. I imagine their experience is better than what i received. No Name certainly does not stand out from the other options, nor does it justify its exorbitant price. Customer service and satisfaction is the single most important factor of differentiating oneself between upscale and luxury. No Name failed this for me. I left frustrated and stressed, and that frustration continued after i had left and is still there. That's not how one should leave a luxury relaxation spa. You can find more luxurious spa retreats out there, and i suggest you try.

If you do intend to visit, keep in mind that Poland still struggles with the concept of customer service in some places. It is probably best to order your services a la carte, instead of having to argue with the staff over what is written on a piece of paper. Also, do make spa reservations ahead of time. When we arrived, the receptionist suggested we do our wine bath immediately prior to our massage. We went to the spa and there were no times available together (and very few left, with them first suggesting we get our massage at 9am the day of our departure).

First of all good news: very unique location and ambiance of the place. Staff is well trained, very helpful. Food is ok, wine selection could be slightly better. When we arrived we were impressed with this place - located on the hill, wood constructions. But.... First of all one can see that this was created by people that have small experience with hospitality business. The room are not cosy at all, wardrobe would be enough for one person, and other furniture seems to be thrown all around without deeper thought. Our room 124 is located close to some engine: fan or pool filter...anyways this thing makes constant noise all day and night, so if you are coming here to enjoy silence and peace, for sure you will not find it in this and neighboring rooms. Due to the fact that hotel was full they couldn't move us to another room. Such thing can destroy experience of the place.
Spa is very nice although we were surprised that they don't offer manicure and pedicure.
Summing up: we are glad we came here but we will not return. It's a charming place but designed without deeper thought, consistency and 'touch' of ergonomy.

Well after arriving and getting our room and what a disappointment this was, the room we got certainly goes with the motto "less is more" and the bathing facilities are worse then a polish cottage in a forrest.
Imagine this : a wood bathtub to small and so smelly that you really did not want to jump in, the sink was rocky and loose and so on, but the stink in the bathroom was really awful. A room with no place to hang your clothes and basically no space to move when you first entered, it was very claustrophobic and to primitive especially when you consider the high prices.
The spa and pool are fine and works well, so was the restaurant, but if you don't speak polish you could easy get tired of the lack of possibility to communicate with the staff.
The owner of the hotel likes his own "art" he makes it himself and trust me it's not pretty or even close to art (my profession is art valour and kurator) and you really get tired of looking at his art plastered all over, please what a nonsense to look at.

Difficult to choose a rating as some elements are excellent such as the general concept and design of the high class spa facilities and good food. It is located in a very remote location so great for an escape getaway with full board all-inclusive provided. However, on the downside, as mentioned by some other reviewers, the hotel is seriously struggling with keeping the hotel and hot water warm. Upon arriving, our room was very cold and not pre-warmed and we ultimately had to borrow an electric heater from the Spa to attempt to keep the room temperature bearable. Very noisy between rooms owing to a lack of sound proofing, you can hear complete conversations between rooms. Baring in mind the cost, these issues should be corrected immediately.

Response from Katarzyna M, Owner at No Name Luxury Hotel & Spa

In the beginning I would like to thank you for sharing your opinion, it is very important for us and helps us to maintain the highest level of service. I'm very glad you appreciate and enjoyed the hotel, high class spa service and good food. Everyday we do our best to keep our guests satisfied. We are really sorry that it was cold in your room at the beginning of your stay but it is probably was caused by the fact that previous guests asked us turn the temperature down and it took a while to adjust it to your liking. As I presume there was no further problems with the temperature . I would like to assure you that we do not struggle with heating nor hot water problems. I am very sorry that you haven't informed the staff, If we had known that for sure we would have taken care of this . Once again I'm very grateful for your feedback.

The place is charming at first sight, well located , friendly staff, great spa, decent food. Nevertheless we were disappointed by the bedding : matrasses are put directly on a painted gypsum drywall construction : unhealthy and uncomfortable. Reading lights are simple bulbs (no LED) fixed on a concrete rebar , with zero efficiency-let stand estetic . The bathroom is proned on the website as minimalistic design - we can accept such as long as it remains functional and safe : sewage smells are not motivating a long stay in bathroom. Most appliances in bathroom are fixed "with hook and crook" washbowls are not fixed at all , access to siphon -if any- can only be done by demolishing the gypsum board support. The lighting is brought back to basics : a bulb on a wire, against all safety rules as within handreach (& No IP protection!)
The wardrobe in the room had apparently been forgotten and was surface built in the corner
Definitively not a 4 star level.

October is rather cold month in polish mountains. That caused that our house (Presidental Appartaments) was simply cold as well. There was too cold to take a bath in comfortable environment.
Some technical issues with keys and access to the rooms during our stay.

Beds are relatively new and sleep quality was above average. Very calm and silent place outside the civilisation and far from rush hours of big cities.

Food quality below average with many significant taste & service failures. Definitely does not match the food pricing. If you want to eat well be sure you have a car and drive somewhere else. Rather limited choice of wines, almost 50% of their wine card wasn't there to taste.

Food choice at the breakfast below average.

Waterpool: small. Visible building quality failures.

Overall: much too pricey.
