We decided to take a last minute trip (well, a week and a half ahead of time) to Lake Don Pedro and booked 2 rooms for 6 adults and 3 dogs at this hotel in Downtown Sonora. It was just 15-20 minutes from Moccasin Point and was pet friendly, so it suited our needs perfectly. There had been a glitch...

The only good thing was the staff were nice. It wasn't worth the price at all. Room was much too small and smelled old. Spiders and webs in the bathroom and overall not very clean. Also not enough parking and twice I had to park on the street and walk too far to the room.

We had researched the Rodeway Inn prior to calling them directly to make a reservation for late arrival. We were visiting Yosemite and Rodeway Sonora was about 2 hours fro Yosemite Village, but it was a little better priced than some that were closer. We were able to get a AAA discount and points. We called the day of to...

The location is great, just a block from the main street with restaurants and shops. Other than that it's a place to avoid. I only paid $125 but this was for a room with a bathroom window that didn't close properly, tiles falling off the walls, and somewhat foul-smelling water from the sink and shower (no tub in room, only...

Price point tells it all. Its cheap, yet clean. Nice staff, although I had to go to Sonora Inn across the way to check in (not a big deal). I arrived late and left early; it served its purpose! If you dont expect much you wont be disappointed.

We stayed 1 night in this hotel. The owners, man and wife, were very friendly and helpfull, especially when we had to use the microwave that had some issues. The room was fine and the hotel also had a very standard breakfast. I've been to other rodeway inn's that were cheaper so this one was surprisingly expensive in comparisson.

We arrived in Sonora after a day of rafting on the Tuolumne River only to find that Booking.com had not communicated our booking to the Rodeway Inn. Luckily, the manager was very helpful and managed to find us a room - he told us this was the second such experience on the same day with Booking.com! This helpful attitude was...

I really didn't want to write this kind of review after meeting the very personable Rajesh, for I really liked him. But when I found out that they had billed me and my companion for the same two-night stay (separate credit cards) I just felt I needed to warn others. First complaint: check in was in a different hotel across...

Craftsmanship on repairs was really bad! Basic hotel, that's okay if you don't plan to spend any time in the room. Expensive for the quality.Found a great restaurant across main street though, Emberz!
