We returned to Sonoma and The Lodge at Sonoma on the 20th of February. I felt like it was "old home week"! Staff remembered us and seemed genuinely glad we were back (this is not my first review and I realize hotel staff are trained in PR). We love everything about The Lodge - the rooms are lovely, spacious and... More

I've stayed at this hotel about 7 times in the past few years. It is definitely one of my favorite places to stay in Sonoma (and Napa area). I usually stay in the cottages since they offer more space the standard lodge rooms, but they also just make the overall experience feel a bit more homey. The lodge rooms are... More

The Lodge at Sonoma Renaissance Resort & Spa provided me with an amazing stay. The facilities were beautiful and modern, the bed was very comfortable, and though there was a large convention going on directly underneath my room, I could not hear a peep. The outdoor facilities were a huge plus, and the Bean & Bottle made one delicious panini!... More

From the time we checked in the front desk team was amazing and helpful! We didn't have dinner reservations so the front desk team made us a reservation and arranged transportation to town square. The rooms are very clean and the beds were comfortable. There was a nice bottle of wine and water in the room. The gym was just... More

I am very happy about our decision to stay in Sonoma over Napa. Great little town with amazing restaurants. My wife and I used our Marriott Rewards points on this great hotel. Upon arrival to departure everything was first class. It was probably the most comfortable and cozy I have ever felt at a hotel, anywhere. The complimentary wine tasting... More

We are currently staying in the resort in one of the standard rooms. Upon arrival we were welcomed by friendly staff and a glass of champagne. This will be good I thought. WRONG Room is standard and quite frankly needs an upgrade. There are stains along the bathroom and a huge funky stain on carpet that is crusty and gross.... More

We went to the lodge for my fiftieth birthday and our nineteenth anniversary. The cottage we had was so lovely we spent the good part of one day in front of the fireplace and soaking in the garden tub. The staff couldn't have been more lovely. We went to the restaurant for breakfast and were treated like royalty. I have... More

Sonoma is a great place to visit and to stay. Our party of three spent one night in one the Cottages- which had two double beds and a pull-out sofa. We loved having a fireplace in the room and it was well appointed. The bathroom layout was a bit odd with doors opening the reverse of what you would normally... More
