We stayed at the hotel for the weekend because we were attending a wedding there on Sunday night. The hotel is in a great location -- close (though not walkable) to Sonoma, which is lovely, quaint, good shopping and eating, and has lots of CA history to discover. However, the hotel itself was just ok. Nothing bad, nothing good. Just...

Thank you for taking the time to give us feedback regarding your recent stay. I am glad you enjoyed the area, there is truly so much to discover nearby. I apologize however for the disappointment that you experienced with our hotel, we are currently working on finalizing a renovation for the hotel which will push the hotel to the next...

Stayed at the Lodge, Sonoma as part of a 4-day business conference. I would highly recommend the lodge for the following: Rooms, service & food. The rooms were spacious and very well equipped. Many of the rooms are different in spec, my particular room (201) had a king-size bed, flat screen TV, working electric fireplace, balcony and bathroom with separate...

I cannot express enough how much my husband and I enjoyed our stay last weekend. We arrived around noon, where we had no problem checking in early and even got a free upgrade to a cottage. We then hit the onsite spa for our couples massage. Not only was it a beautiful and relaxing facility but the massage itself was...

My mom, sister and I stayed here for a long weekend, and the location was great. I also dont have a lot negative to say other than that I expect more for the Renaissance namesake. If it werent branded that way I would probably not say anything. The main building has been recently renovated and if they continued that throughout...

We enjoyed our stay, but not worth the price and isn’t as luxurious as they claim. For the price we thought the cottages should have been updated and in better condition with upgraded TV’s phones, furniture etc. The bed was comfortable but the entire room didn’t have that 4 star feel or look. The patio with table and chairs is...

Thank you for taking the time to give us feedback regarding your recent stay. I am thrilled to hear that you enjoyed your stay overall. I apologize however for the disappointment that you experienced with patios, we are currently working on getting concrete poured in before the summer time, we agree it is a great feature if executed well. Please...

Definitely eat in at the Careros Bistro...the Chef is superb and the sous chef had true command of his wood fire grill. Sit at the eating bar and watch the meal come together seamlessly Make sure you talk to Dominique at the concierge desk. She made reservations for us two go to two wineries St Francis for the food and...

Stayed here this past weekend (end of Feb-Mar) for a girls weekend. The staff was so friendly and accommodating (electricity went out for a few hours on Friday due to a blown transformer or something down the street but it made for a fun evening relaxing and chatting with staff). The hotel lobby and grounds were very nicely done. They...

My wife and I stayed three days in a 'cottage'. The room was quaint with a fireplace and sitting area. Although the weather was rainy and dreary, we enjoyed our stay immensely. The restaurant was excellent both for breakfast and dinner. The exercise room was adequate but could use a few more treadmills. Due to the torrential rains, we experienced...

This was my third stay at the Lodge at Sonoma. Everyone at the resort was pleasant and helpful. My room was in a separate wing of the resort, not in a cottage. Very quiet there, the room was comfortable. My only issue was that the fireplace doen't run throughout the night unless the timer gets reset by a hotel engineer....

We returned to Sonoma and The Lodge at Sonoma on the 20th of February. I felt like it was "old home week"! Staff remembered us and seemed genuinely glad we were back (this is not my first review and I realize hotel staff are trained in PR). We love everything about The Lodge - the rooms are lovely, spacious and...
