I. am a lifetime solvang resident with 4 generations from this town so I'm gonna give u the truth. When making the reservation the girl was nice but misinformed me of a policy or I misheard her. Regardless upon check in the guy eric who I was told normally is great was semi rude when I asked to talk w...

I try not to dwell on the negative too much, but when a 4 star hotel has no hot water for two straight days, it gets a little uncomfortable. The reason I give this hotel 3 stars is due to the staff not offering suggestions for shower facilities in the area. How many times can a guy jump in the...

We travel frequently and like nice places to stay, the Hadsten House will for sure be our "go to" while in Solvang. I can't really add anything that hasn't already been said. Good value for everything you get! We didn't get the turn down service and I was a little dissapointed. We were in a room that allowed pets, so...

The rooms are superior. The daily happy hour comes with the room, including a glass of wine or beer and delicious snacks. The 3-course dinner was excellent and beautifully prepared. Deserts are fabulous! Nice indoor pool and outdoor hot tub. All in all, a good stay.

We went to Solvang for a Romantic getaway and tour of Wine Country. The Hadsten House was one of the loveliest hotels I have ever stayed in. I am an avid traveler and from New York City, so my standards are high! We booked the Jacuzzi suite room for an amazing $190 a night. The room was very large, immaculately...

This was the best customer service I have ever received. We had a travelzoo promotion and STILL got 8 free drinks, they serve hot breakfast and wine and cheese social every afternoon, a bottle of champagne in the room, and offer a bottle of wine for free with any dinner purchase. Moreover, their servers and front desk agents were great....

Location: Smack in the middle of Solvang on the main road. 80 room, 2 level u-shaped hotel. Probably originally built in the 1920s and remodelled several times. The rooms face the road with the Lobby, Restaurant and indoor pool in the center of the complex. Very convenient for wine tasting or dining in the city. Rooms: About 400 square ft....

Just returnwed from a 2 night stay at the Hadsten House. We were upgraded to a suite with a huge jacuzzi in the 2nd bathroom with a TV. We also got a botle of sparkling wine, and a list of over 15 wineries that were for "free" wine tastings. We only went to 2 in Los Olivos. We also enjoyed...

The pool is nicely housed in the main part of the building and the water temperature was just right to be able to swim. Walking distance to downtown. The restaurant is really, really good for dinner - I would recommend making reservations because it gets busy even on weekdays. I did not care for the breakfast.
