Really nice motel, check in easy and staff friendly and welcoming. Room was ground floor, clean and big. It also had a small kitchen and table. Patio doors led straight out to swimming pool. We felt it was a shame we were only there for one night. Breakfast in the morning was a little disappointing, cereal was self service while bagel and danish pastry were offered. …
Booked one night on our way up north. Walked into the room & right away noticed the dirty, patched up walls & door. Clearly the bathroom & decor had been recently updated but it was like a bandaid on an old wound. As I mentioned, the walls had scrapes, patches & were just plain dirty. The somewhat new carpet didn't fit the room leaving a gap of cement up to the baseboard. I saw a few small bugs in the bathroom before bed but that can happen in a more rural are. However, I woke up in the middle of the night with irritation & an itchy ankle only to find 4-5 bites on my ankles & legs. I shook out the sheets to find one of the small centipede-like bugs I"d seen earlier!! Needless to say, I couldn't sleep the rest of the night...gross! Never going back there again!!…
My wife and I stayed the night on route to LA and loved Solvang! This hotel is ideally placed. Easy access from Highway 1, good parking options and a short stroll into the Danish town! The room was a little dated but a good size and perfect for our needs. Breakfast was good with the pastries being the highlight! Would be very happy to visit again!!! …
We stayed only one night on a drive up to San Francisco. The town is gorgeous with all their Danish shops, restaurants etc. This inn provided us with a very spacious room with a comfortable chair, very clean room and bathroom. The staff were friendly and spoke English. The rooms are old fashion style but well kept and the bed comfortable. The breakfast did not have a lot of choices and some items had gone when we got there at 8.15am. Would definately stay here again if we are in this area in the future.…
Loved loved loved this cute little hotel and town. We had a wonderful room with three beds , recliners and a fireplace!! Pool and hot tub were lovely and everything was clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend. Bonus.... we got a crazy cheap deal on booking.com! …
