I'm sure there are some nice rooms at this hotel, unfortunately that was not the case for us. Our room felt like we were in the attic. It was very dated, phone did not work at all. Tried calling the front desk for various things from cell phone but no answer had to physically walk down. Which in the rain...

I booked this the night before when arrived, I was surprised that this was the same hotel I booked several years back. The room was great, the bathroom is a little out dated. The room was very comfortable and well decorated, the pictures on the web site are old pictures, since then they replaced the carpet with wood floors, looks...

Staff were friendly and accommodating, location was good. Hotel is in need of updating. Bathroom was very new but the rest of the room looked worn. Furniture and carpet new renewal. For the rates in the area we were disappointed. Hotel has potential to be really cool with some help.

Let me start by saying this hotel is VERY dog friendly! There was a charge ($25 per dog I believe) and as far as I understand not all rooms are available to those of us who travel with our pets. The room was nice; coffee maker, honor bar with two choices of local wines, and ours had a fireplace (which...

The bedrooms are just older than what looks like in the picture. The bed was not comfortable! The wine bar is simple but charming, $7 a glass. Breakfast fresh and delicious, best hashbrowns ever! You get what you pay for. Would stay again.

The hotel is picture perfect at first sight and on their web site gives you the impression that the hotel is an impeccable, idyllic and a fairy tale like place. However, soon after arrival, and once inside you will be disappointed and realize it over promises and under delivers. If it were not for the staff and the nice landscaping,...

My husband and I arrived after dark here, but it was easy enough to find the hotel. The room took some finding, even with directions from the desk clerk. The inn is rather unusually laid out. The room was ok, the bed was fine, but the furniture was quite dated, and there were wine stains on the carpet, which looked...

I been in Solvang enough times to say this was the best hotel by far, it's away from the Main Street (two very short blocks), all personnel is very friendl, helpful and ready to help. The breakfast was very good had a lot to choose from and to have a complimentary wine tasting at the end of the day doesn't...

Best thing about this hotel was the location. Very centrally located to walking the town. Stayed in the motel part which had cars parking in front of the rooms. Imagine this could be annoying if there were late arrivals at night. Actually the area was rather quiet for our stay. Felt the rooms were dated and everything seemed a bit...

Quite enjoyed the one night stay, although arrived a little late. Nice comfortable bed, nice little fire place although be nice to at least have a full size prefab piece of wood instead of the mini sized version given. Nice comfortable sofa area sit in a few steps down from the bed room. Nice updated bath and a nice garden...
