We spent 3 nights in the "Oak" cabin at the Yuba River Inn. The area is so beautiful and the location for hiking and near the town is excellent. Rick, one of the owners, is a very nice and fun gentleman who takes pride of ownership to a new level. There is a beautiful big deck above the river with...

We have been coming here for decades. The Yuba River Inn is the perfect spot for us to stay while we fish, swim and hike in beautiful Sierra County. At this point, we all feel like family, a feeling the owners have truly fostered. Cabins here are quaint and clean. The Yuba River Inn is quiet, safe and picturesque. We...

What was supposed to be a spontaneous overnight adventure almost backfired when my boyfriend and I found ourselves on top of Hwy 49 in the evening with no place to stay. No one in the last 15 miles of highway had any vacancy! Feeling defeated, we made one last stop at the end of town and discovered a little piece...

This was my family's third trip to the cabins at the Yuba River Inn. Rick and Mike have done a great job with the property and do what they can to ensure a peaceful stay. They're also very helpful with finding fun and interesting things to do around the area. Besides enjoying the river itself that flows (or rages, depending...

Must echo the great previous reviews, each review offers perfect information one would want to know when choosing a vacation destination and lodging on line. I love the fact that everyone " gets" how special the inn and the surrounding peace and beauty of the area is. The cabins suit the ambience of the location, darling mountain accommodations,. The Inn is in a marvelous location, high in the Sierra, near a gorgeous river (Yuba), mountain lakes, buttes, history and more. Walking distance to the tiny town of Sierra City, but secluded and quiet. Cabin with kitchen was terrific -- old-fashioned in a really nice way. All in all, a terrific place to spend a few nights.

My husband and I stayed with our dog at the Yuba River Inn for two nights and that definitely was not enough. The place is just marvelous, the cabin was clean, well stocked and super comfortable, all the charm made it priceless. We slept like babies, so comfortable and quiet, coffee in the morning on the front porch, enjoying the...

We stayed for three nights with a group of friends and had a wonderful time. The cabin was well stocked and clean and there was a superb HUGE new deck we could hang out on overlooking the river. Can't wait to go again. FYI The deck would be great for someone planning a wedding

Peaceful and near river, although it's a steep downhill walk. Cabins are cozy and clean. Owners are always available as they live on site and happy to chat! Close to lakes and historical gold mining sights. Easy Walking distance to Sierra City.
