The location was lovely but we deserved a bit more comfort--No ice available and the freezer section of the fridge was an inch thick with old ice-but no ice cube trays anyhow. Don't know how that guest prepared eggs as there were no utensils to use in the microwave. There was ample room for two comfortable chairs but instead we... More

It is unfortunate we did not meet your expectations. We have gone to great lengths to photograph and describe in detail the contents of our cabins. We would like our guests to know exactly what to expect prior to booking. The kitchenette is stocked with basic utensils. We intentionally installed bathroom exhaust fans, to give our guests using the facility... More

We stayed in a studio cabin with a queen bed. The room was spacious, well-equipped and recently remodeled. Comfortable bed. The Kitchenette has a microwave and fridge but no cooktop. Owners are friendly and helpful. Lovely property grounds, and the owner has a few chickens. There is some highway noise, though traffic is light. Off-property dogs barked all night. One... More

Beautiful, quiet setting, nestled among the trees. Theresa and her husband are friendly, accommodating hosts who clearly take pride in their property. Cabins are clean, well appointed, reasonably priced and conveniently located to Lassen Volcanic National Park. They are within a 10 minute drive to a grocery store, gas station and two PG&E lakes. We look forward to our return... More

Cute little cabin, well manicured property that you can explore a little bit. Teresa and Ray were very friendly without being overbearing. They gave us our space but Ray was onsite maintaining the property and was available for any needs. We chat a bit with the couple about the local winery and fun places to catch a bite. Wasn't sure... We stayed here while visiting Lassen, which was about 15 minutes away. Our cottage was perfect: clean, well-equipped, and comfortable (except for the pillow liners...the plastic made a crinkling sound every time we turned in bed!). The owners were readily available if we had any questions. We rented the 3 bedroom cottage and each room was great. Greatest thing: fresh... More

My family just finished our trip to Lassen Volcanic National Park and we stayed 3 nights at Grace Lake Resort. We had a great time here and I definitely will come back again. The resort is in a great location, about 30 minutes driving to the North gate of Lassen park. It is also located in a very quiet area,... More

The cabins are located on the only road in the area, about a mile from the town of Shingletown, CA which has a gas station, a combination grocery/hardware/deli, a pizzeria and wifi. We did not have wifi in our cabin (#1), although another reviewer seems to have had it. The cabin is immaculate and homey with a small refrigerator, microwave... More

It sounds like you really enjoyed the cabin you stayed in, We are happy about that, and hope you will stay again in the future. Addressing the WiFi. issue, we are in a remote area and we have the only service provided in the area. At times the service is spotty. The majority of time there is not a problem,... More

I had such a relaxing stay here. Old cabins lovingly restored, big comfortable beds, a haven in the tall trees with a gorgeous little pool. No phone or TVs but fast internet and decent cell coverage (AT&T). This is 20 minutes to the north end of Lassen park; an easy drive to Manzanita Lake or to Burney Falls. Also a... More

We are so glad you enjoyed your stay at Grace Lake Resort. I see that you were at Manzanita Lake store for supplies. I am not sure if you knew Shingletown was just 1 mile from us with 1 grocery store / deli, liquor store, pizza parlor and 2 gas stations. Thank you for choosing Grace Lake Resort to stay,... More

We so happy that we choose this place from others review. Everything were great and hardly any improvement suggestions. The cabin fully equipped - no need to bring anything except food. WiFi was great. Highly recommend this place.

We came to Grace Lake Resort with high expectations from the previous reviews and were left very happy with our stay. We drove up to a small cottage amidst the trees with lush green grass and a beautiful outdoor setting. We were lucky to be there at a time when everything was quiet. “Our cabin was #1, closest to the highway. A cabin further into the property would be quieter. There were large forest fires further up into the mountains while we were there, so a couple times a day (including very early morning) long convoys of fire trucks would rumble by in both directions. It wasn't a constant problem, but at certain times it was pretty noisy.”
