We stayed again when we visited our son in San Francisco. This is a superb hotel -- excellent views, excellent accomodations. The wine and cheese in the afternoon is not your basic $7 bottle and cut cheddar, but really good tasting wines and excellent cheeses: a soft French, a blue, and a third that I forget. Breakfast is also very...

We stayed here for our 20th anniversary. We are very seasoned travelers and have stayed in all types of places to stay. This goes to the top of our list. Top quality in service, rooms, staff, toiletries and location. We reserved the second level room (vista room) corner room. It had a panoramic view of sfo, angel island, alcatraz, and...

When we booked this we knew that we were going to be able to relax just fro the fact that it's in Sausalito but we underestimated just how much we would enjoy the room and the offerings that the hotel had. The hotel only has 31 rooms so there isn't a lot of hustle and bustle which is nice and...

This is my wife's favorite town and hotel. For me it was the first time and I have to agree with my wife that this place is something special. The service is impeccable. Cocktail hours from 5 to 7 pm is great with good California wine and many local cheeses. Great continental breakfast which one could have in your room...

Hands down, one of the best boutique hotel in the San Francisco Bay Area. Centrally located in lovely Sausalito, this hotel has amazing views, rooms and service. Like everything in Sausalito, it is pricey but well worth every penny. Very romantic and perfect for special occasions. Will come back as soon as I win the lottery. :)

It is almost redundant to give this place another five star review but I can't help it. We were celebrating an important milestone in our marriage and, for us, it is not the norm to spend this much money on a hotel room but, because of the special occasion, we did. We had one of the "normal" lesser priced rooms,...

We had a 1 night stop here, lovely hotel. Our room was superb, huge bed and very comfy, an end room so we had 3 big windows all with access over the water. The breakfast was also lovely. I'm very glad we chose to stay over the other side of the bay from San Francisco this time, the weather was...

On a previous trip to the area we had stayed in a San Francisco hotel which was nice but this is so much better. It is a small hotel directly in the water and only steps from the ferry to San Francisco ferry port. We were greeted warmly and offered the use of bikes if we would like. Lots of...

Been fortunate enough to stay here twice. The sound of the water...the view....the balcony that hangs over the bay. The locals are just wonderful as well. Be warned, once you stay there anywhere else in the area is not an option!

My husband and I stayed at Inn Above Tide over the Labor Day weekend. This Inn is top notch! I had left a small item in my room and to my surprise it showed up in the mail. The staff here is wonderful and it is a place you really can feel at home in. Very peaceful and relaxing. It's...
