Quick break after two busy weeks working in Houston TX. Very comfortable hotel and staff could not do enough to help with anything. Rooms, particularly beds extremely comfortable. Location perfect, with pool deck overlooking beach, great area to relax and unwind after breakfast. Only short walk to Santa Monica Pier and shopping district. Only fault was the quality of food...

From the moment we entered the hotel. No one seems friendly. Especially the concierge guy. He seems inconsiderate. Only give short answers and not very attentive to us. We love the location and the room was very nice EXCEPT no ventilation in the toilet room. So, someone needs to do their business, the rest of us must step out of...

If you're tooling around Santa Monica, or an LA resident, and you want to enjoy a nice aperitif or a snack... don't stop by this place. They've renovated the restaurant and bar, but for some reason the food and the service hasn't caught up. We had multiple problems with our experience (ordered gin & tonics, were brought gin martinis... asked...

This hotel is in an excellent location. The whole atmosphere is very up scale and has everything you would want in a hotel in Santa Monica. The pool area overlooking the Pacific Ocean is magnificent. The lobby lounge, bar and restaurants offer excellent food, drink and entertainment.

A truly amazing residence on the sands of Santa Monica. . From entering to leaving you feel you own the place as nothing is a trouble. The sunset and ambiance of the place is just so sumptuous you want to take it home

Service was impeccable, food was expensive but worth it, make a reservation and try and get there for sunset - the view is breathtaking! Would recommend this for intimate dinners and big groups, but not necessarily family outings. Dinner or drinks - a MUST! Looking forward to staying there and testing out the amenities.

Staff A+ Location A+. On the beach, nice quiet part of Santa Monica. Close to main st and the promenade. We had fun renting bikes (in shutters next door that they also own). Room we had, had a nice view, but was very small, an and kind of dated. And noisy. We could hear the people upstairs and on both...

I booked this Hotel because it looked great and its location seemed very central. When we booked they gave us a room in the courtyard with a partial sea view (not too fussed about the view). We arrive about 4pm and needed to have a nap, after a long trip. But that was not going to happen. Court yard around...

This Hotel is very expensive. The Hotel Staff are excellent I could not fault them, the bed is great for a good night sleep. I think my only issue is with the information we were given by staff and the printed information in the room. Yes it right on the beach and only a 10+ minute walk to all the...

Staying in Santa Monica

Neighbourhood Profile
Santa Monica
Santa Monica is a coastal town that maintains a balance as a tourist destination and as an area with a thriving local culture. On the beach, bikers, roller-bladers, runners and walkers move along the famed bike path enjoying the beautiful Los Angeles weather. The solar-powered Ferris wheel at the Santa Monica pier spins high above the water, while park revelers scream with delight riding the roller coaster. Inland from the beach, Third Street Promenade bustles with shoppers and street performers, where every block seems to have a musical or acrobatic act drawing crowds giving Santa Monica both the feeling of a laid-back beach town and a major commercial hub.
