Charming, immaculate, and safe. Location-location-location. The family and staff care about your comfort. They help you get around - even supply beach umbrellas, chairs, towels - and coffee. It's casual and easy to feel at home in the FAMILY home! I plan to be back for 2 weeks in March.

The hubbs and I spent one quick night here, and we were very pleased. The hotel is small and family owned and operated, and very cozy. The staff was friendly and helpful, suggesting breakfast the next day at Amelia's, which is on the property (best breakfast we had in California). Take their suggestion, you won't be disappointed. We got the...

I stayed here with my twins aged 9, and we all loved it. This motel is in a fabulous location, and for the price, is an excellent bargain. It is a no-frills, clean motel without anything fancy, although our room did have a small refrigerator, and we used the microwave in the front office to heat up leftovers one night....

This fun pink stucco motel with planters filled with succulents was the perfect setting for a mother/daughter get-away. It is located right on Main Street Santa Monica, literally nestled among coffee shops, boutiques, restaurants and of course a couple of short blocks to the beach. We had suite #42, it has a queen and a double bed in the bedroom...

The room was very dated though the bed was comfortable and the shower fine. The large vanity bench in the bathroom and large mirror were great. It's about a 30 minute walk to the main shopping area, we found limited options for food close to the hotel, also a bit noisy at night (street noise I think not from the...

I'm surprised the Sea Shore ever has a vacancy given its ideal location, super friendly helpful staff, spotless rooms, awesome vintage fifties mid century decor, free parking and super-reasonable rates. We chose it based on the strength of other reviews but gladly affirm how perfectly located it is in the middle of a wide array of great restaurants and bars,...

This motel was absolutely perfect for our one-night stay in Santa Monica. The location was ideal--within walking distance to a bunch of cute shops and restaurants. The room was comfortable and spacious, and the front desk staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We will be back!

This adorable hotel sits right on Main Street in Santa Monica. The beach is a couple of blocks away and there is access to restaurants, shops, and bars. With that being said, if you visit on the weekends be prepared to stay up late due to the noise coming from the people on the street, bar hopping. I was woken...

Surprisingly lovely experience at a little gem of a motel right in the midst of bustling Santa Monica's Main Street. Family run. Immediately near many needed conveniences. Clean. Friendly staff. Accommodating. Funky California decor.

Staying in Santa Monica

Neighbourhood Profile
Santa Monica
Santa Monica is a coastal town that maintains a balance as a tourist destination and as an area with a thriving local culture. On the beach, bikers, roller-bladers, runners and walkers move along the famed bike path enjoying the beautiful Los Angeles weather. The solar-powered Ferris wheel at the Santa Monica pier spins high above the water, while park revelers scream with delight riding the roller coaster. Inland from the beach, Third Street Promenade bustles with shoppers and street performers, where every block seems to have a musical or acrobatic act drawing crowds giving Santa Monica both the feeling of a laid-back beach town and a major commercial hub.
