While looking for a place to stay in Santa Clara over the Christmas holiday, other than a conventional hotel, we discovered the Madison Street Inn.It was almost like stepping into a Dickens Christmas Carol home. The home is a restored Victorian with great charm and character. The home, and its various rooms, are delighfully decorated. The parlor had a beutifully decorative... More

I stayed here back in June. My partner and I went for a concert around the area. Was a bit of an accident to find this place, but we definitely LOVED IT! We enjoyed the fresh cookies and wine, the comfortable room, and delicious breakfast. We met the owners who were very kind. We went out for a late concert,... More

I was on the last leg of a business trip - looking for a place close to the airport that was not a soulless chain. What a pleasant find here in Santa Clara - on a quiet street, a quiet house with wonderful breakfast and a relaxing sleep. I came late in the evening and had to leave pretty early... More

We wish we could have stayed here longer! The house is beautiful and comfortable, the owners are wonderful and friendly and they serve an amazing breakfast! We loved being able to use the pool and hot tub, it was so nice to just relax and soak for a bit. The inn is also a short walk to a delicious and... More

I stayed for two nights here after a night in a local hotel which was more expensive. Madison Street Inn was a better experience--bigger room, unique décor, a really nice shower/bath combo with high water pressure and a deep square tub, pool right outside the door, and I could park and be in my room in 10 seconds (not 5-10... Charming, comfortable, slightly weatherbeaten inn, dating from 1890, with warm, unobtrusive service. Excellent breakfast every morning on the terrace though I largely fortified myself for the conference I was attending with peanut butter on toast and a mug of black tea! Located in quiet residential district with a good Italian restaurant, Mio Vicino, nearby.

we stayed here over the weekend of the 4th of July. Theresa was a terrific host - excellent breakfasts. The best part of it was that we brought our grandkids and daughter-in-law down from Mountainview for the day to play in the pool for about 8 hours! Beds are very comfortable and there is plenty of room in the sitting... More

We stayed at the Inn for three nights. Tess was very welcoming and made you feel at home. The breakfast is to die for, with home made jams, eggs, and fresh fruit. During the day and evenings, she has port, homemade chocolate chip cookies (if they make it into the night), tea, and instant coffee always available. The room we... More

Traveled out here for a competition and this Was an excellent place to stay. Owners were very accommodating to our early morning schedule. They served an excellent breakfast every morning and with the pool and hot tub in the back yard allowed for a great place to relax in between competition. Would suggest this place to any traveler. Great place... More

Nice hosts. Room ready for late arrival. Sheets were top notch thread count. Breakfast was available for early departure. They even gave me a ride to SCU! It is an old home and a BnB so you need to realize it's homey, not a 4 star resort. They do have a pool fire pit etc.
