When you arrive at the Inn at East Beach, you’ll be greeted by Frank. Frank IS the Inn at East Beach. You’ll get a warm welcome like an old friend and more information about Santa Barbara than can possibly fill a few days. Located just one block from the beach, the Inn is a renovated motel. It has been very...

I stayed at the Inn at East Beach the night before and after my wedding, and my only regret is that I didn't stay longer! Upon arrival, my bridesmaid and I were greeted warmly by the owner, and given detailed lists of activities and discounts in Santa Barbara (we are local, so we knew of most things, but it was...

We started our visit with a welcome by Frank. He is gracious and warm and sets the tone for the visit. We got to our room late in the evening and were pleased with our electric fireplace/heater and cozy bed with lots of pillows. Although the building is older, they have clearly worked hard to address details and their mid...

This is a quaint little property that is somewhat dated but clean and cool. The room furnishings are all updated in a contemporary simple style. Frank (general manager) is the highlight of the stay. His warm welcome, cool Hawaiian shirts, and attention to customers is second to none. We like the location's access to the beach, wharf, and State Street...

We stayed here for 3 nights in mid October 2011. We had a really nice room with good kitchen and very comfy bed. Frank (the owner) was so welcoming and very helpful. His breakfast was great also, with plenty of options and nice pastries - watch out for those jalapenos croissants and the crazy bowl! Great stay, good location and...

I wanted an affordable but decent place to stay in SB while we went on a college tour, and this place was just right. Don't expect a fancy luxury hotel...it's an older property, but they have done some cosmetic repairs and updated the rooms to be a bit more modern. Have a great double sink in the bathroom and a...

We have a mixed review about this property. There are a few things are are really great, but there were some disappointments. The positives: -The owners have a lot of pride in the property. -Frank is a genuinely nice person and an accomodating property manager who wants his guests to be comfortable -free parking, wifi, breakfast -laundry on site -close...

This hotel did a few things very well. The decor inside the room is quite nice with lots of lighting in the right spots. We were treated very hospitably by the owners and the continental breakfast was good, with pastries from a bakery instead of a package. The hotel, though not on the beach, is just a short walk to...

Liked the room very much, good space, comfy bed, like the double sink outside the bathroom, plenty space to apply make up while hubby still in the shower, and no steamed up mirror :-) Like every hotel room it could do with more towel rails and or hooks, but that's a pet peeve of mine. Main issue for me was...

We stayed at the Inn at East Beach and were so pleased with it. The little touches made a big difference, like the quality bathroom amenities to the high thread count in the sheets. But what really put it over the top for us was Frank, the owner, who greeted us with ultra warm hospitality. He was cheerful and helpful...
