Arrived late in evening - staff friendly and helpful. Room was huge however dull and dark definitely needs renovation would definitely not have stayed for longer. Location at the end of State Street was a long walk to centre of town
This was a gorgeous room with fabulous high ceilings. The bathroom needs to be upgraded to keep in line with the rest of the room and the towels had dirty marks on them. The hotel is in walking distance to downtown and there are plenty of shops and restaurants in close proximity.…
We stayed here for 1 night. We had a 1 bedroom room which was very spacious. Pool area was a nice surprise and a sun trap. Decent location on a bustling street. About 20mins walk to the start of the main downtown area and about an hour walk to the wharf, or $6-7 in an Uber. Only couple of niggles is there is no light near the shower so it’s very dark. Also, the rooms have very few lights so was very dark even with all lights and lamps turned up. …
Ever so pleased with our stay at Orange Tree Inn! Reception and housekeeping staff very friendly and so helpful. Will return when in the area! …
I stayed at the Orange Tree Inn to attend a wedding. The motel is easily accessible from the Mission Street exit from the 101 freeway, about 5 short blocks to State Street. I stayed in a room with a king bed by the pool. The room was very clean, AC, WiFi, TV, coffee pot, ironing board, comfortable bed, no refrigerator. There is a large shared community refrigerator in the lobby as well as an ice machine. No complimentary breakfast, but location is next to 7 Eleven, convenient for snacks. Check in is fast. Staff are welcoming and very helpful. I walked from the motel down State Street to the pier in about 45-50 minutes. You can catch the shuttle by walking to Sola Street, 5 short blocks from the motel and get a one day shuttle pass for $1.00. The Orange Tree Inn although is not in the category of luxurious is a good standard motel choice for the budget traveler.…
"We were on 2nd floor and had a high ceiling which gave it a chalet feeling; balcony overlooking parking lot which was ok for just 1 night"Read full review
