We have stayed in many 4 and 5 star hotels on our recent trip to California so didn't expect much from an overnight stay in a 3 star motel. It is on a main road and looks pretty average from the outside. Yes the bedrooms are a bit tired but clean and comfortable with all the amenities you need. Your...

Overall a very good stay. Fairly close to State street, 6-7 blocks, beach 2-3, convenience store 1 block. Alittle noisy one night from a party next door but quieted by 9pm. Price was average, rooms small but very clean and neat. Great wine mixer in the afternoon. The pool area and garden area is a big plus! Would stay again

We booked on Hotel Tonight, total prize $340 / night. We had flown in transcontinental, arriving around midnight at the hotel. The lobby was closed, so a sign directed us to an adjacent motel, where the night clerk handed us our keys. The beds where moist and the rooms smelled moldy. When we wanted to shower after a long trip,...

Greetings Florian, I am terribly sorry to hear about your recent stay with us. The last thing you anticipate to experience after a long transcontinental flight is an inadequate guest room. As you mentioned, our front desk/reception is open from 7AM - 11PM so late arriving gusts are required to check in at our sister hotel next door where our...

Recently stayed here for two nights on my honeymoon. When we pulled up it was not quite as expected as on a main road, however when we went in the staff were friendly and even changed our room to a poolside view. There was wine and cheese on offer followed by milk and cookies which was a lovely touch. They...

Recently stayed on a two night stop on our honeymoon. Staff are amazing, very friendly and helpful. Had a bottle of champagne waiting for us. Great location 5 min walk to harbour, 15 min walk to State St. Room was very comfortable and clean. Complimentary breakfast, wine in afternoon and milk and homemade cookies in evening. Cookies are to die...

We stopped here on our way south. Nice spot and a typical Motel style accommodation. You have your own kitchen so if you want to cook you can. The owner was very nice and very helpful. Nothing too much to ask.

We stayed at the Inn by the Harbor for one night as part of our honeymoon, booked through Trailfinders. We arrived early so were unable to check in but we're able to park the car and walk into Santa Barbara (15 minutes). On our return we were greeted by Frank, who is a credit to this hotel. His knowledge of...

For its location in Santa Barbara and its "class" this is a great B&B. I confirm all of the positive comments about the staff. I have never had such a welcoming and helpful stay ever. Our primary interaction was at the front desk, primarily with Frank, who is such a nice, warm and competent guy. However, all of our interactions...

Not a fancy place, but a very well-run place. It's a classic motel where they've done everything right to make your stay comfortable. The bathroom was updated, had a wonderful shower; the room had a small fridge and a big TV (with a huge assortment of free rental DVDs). Breakfast was a simple small buffet: cereal, yogurt, milk, bagel, pastry,...

Have to agree with some of the other low rated comments on here. Booked through Trailfinders. This was the only accommodation on a 2 week fly drive we were disappointed with especially as photos give impression of a very nice Hotel/Inn. Customer service was excellent but rooms look very tired (especially kitchen/bathroom) and location not great. Glad we only stayed...
