Three generations ages 14 to 70 arrived midst torrential rain & hurricane force wind. The Pepper Tree location afforded easy access to both restaurants and shopping. Jarrod & Corrine's suggestions for easily accessible restaurants and weather appropriate activities were greatly appreciated. From housekeeping to management, the staff exceeded our every expectation. We all agreed to return again for a fair...

We love this hotel. We visit Santa Barbara multiple times a year, and this has become the only hotel we stay in. If you are coming for the beach, or even specifically for downtown, this is not the closest for those activities, but is is easy to get anywhere from this location.

The room was with a king bed, microwave, refrigerator, wireless and fruit for snacks. They seemed to add a lot of little extras, hair dryer, robe etc. The room was a first floor next to the pool, spa and fire pit. So it was nice to hop out and go for a swim and soak. We took our bikes out to...

Stayed here one night whilst on our way down the PCH. Staff were very helpful the night we arrived, with a map and useful information of where to eat. Rooms were slightly dated, but only stayed one night so it didn't bother us. We were also right outside the jacuzzi so great location. Maybe more efficient if there were more...

After a long drive, you kinda want as little fuss as possible while checking in. That's exactly what we got! No problems, very friendly staff, you can park pretty much right near your hotel room and the room itself was clean with a comfortable bed. It's a no frills, Spanish inspired type place with a little courtyard, hot tub and...

We have stayed at this Best Wester on two different visits to watch Water Polo at UCSB Tournaments. We didn't spend much time there but the hot coffee and tea in the lobby were great on a cold wet night. The fresh fruit in the room was also a welcomed surprise. It is easy to get into Santa Barbara or...

Been staying at this hotel for many years and it's always a good experience. Comfy beds and and very clean rooms in a park like setting. Lovely grounds and two pools for your enjoyment and relaxation. Coffee shop and really cool twig cocktail lounge on site.(but not open late) Old school Santa Barbara style. If you want glitz and glitter...

We had a fantastic time in Santa Barbara. This hotel was clean, well kept and quiet. The folks at the front desk for polite and efficient at both check in and check out. Did not have much occasion to interact with them otherwise. One pool is not (currently) heated, but a sign said the other one is. The hot tub...

Great staff warm friendly. Nice room. Little older but clean patio green area. Put our bikes there. Jacuzzi warm pool not so warm. A little loud from second floor noise. Took train from San Diego with bikes relied on walking, riding bikes and public transportation. Love the town.

We stay here a lot because it's next door to our favorite SB restaurant (Chuck's). It's a BW, so moderate your expectations, but it's a nice BW. Grounds are really nice - lots of flowers, little paths, places to sit and relax and nice pools. And there is a fire pit on one side! So nice in the winter. If...

Dear kmfesq, We appreciate your loyalty in choosing to stay with us during your visits to Santa Barbara. Chuck's is one of the best steak houses in town and you can't beat our convenient walking distance from the restaurant. With the recent rains our grounds are so very vibrant and the fire pit has been enjoyed by many guests visiting...
