Very pleasant and cosy hotel close to the beach and State Street on a fairly quiet street. Rooms are neatly decorated and comfortable but, as many have said, without A/C. That said we were given a additional fan which helped a lot. Breakfast is fairly basic, bagels, muffins, cereals, pastries and jams. The hotel also provided cheese, wine and grapes...

Just a block from the beach, this is a cute little hotel. Our room was a queen and on the street. It's fine that there's no A/C but windows open doesn't afford much privacy or security. While clean, the shower was in need of a little work (knob came off) and the newer wall finish covered old pink tile somewhat....

I had an appointment at Sansum Clinic and they offered a great rate for patients. My friend and I enjoyed the breakfast and also the wineries around the neighborhood. Great place and I would stay there again. Clean and quiet.

I was pleased with this cute little hotel in a great location. It is located just a block from the beach. The most important thing for me was that it was dog friendly. They have good coffee in the morning, but I did not try the continental breakfast that is offered. They also offer wine and cheese in the evening,...

Very quant boutique hotel just across the street from the beach. Rooms are cool, even little kitchen, very easy walk to train station station, State St, Funk Zone, beach, etc. Rooms are like little bungalow's

I thought this hotel was really cute, but I understand it's not for everyone. It's not in the style of a typical hotel -- the rooms are more like separate little cottages reminiscent of baby condos. It's a bit pricey for what it is, but hotels in SB aren't cheap. Pros: - Great location. Half a block from the beach,...

Locals in Santa Barbara, we needed to find a hotel/motel for two nights while our house was being fumigated. We happened upon Casa Del Mar and found it to be absolutely perfect for us and our dog. The room is nicely decorated, good bed, large bathroom, we had a corner room which had ventilation on three sides, and most of...

It is a lovely place very close to the beach. Very clean. They have limited parking on the premise but parking on the street is available. Rooms are a bit pricey for what you get. For a B and B the breakfast is very simple. A few cereals, bagels, jam, philadelphia, pastry and juice. This is more like a motel...

We decided to swing through Santa Barbara on our way back from a very hot few days in Yosemite. We weren't quite sure we'd find a place to stay at a reasonable price without a prior reservation, however CDM hit the mark and then some. We called around to a few different Inns in the area, and most were fully...

First of all, like most accommodation on the Californian coast in the Summer, it's ridiculously overpriced... But, that aside the place is spotless, there's parking on the street right outside (and a few places undercover but not garaged) and it's quiet. There's no air con that I could discover but my room was fine with fan. The breakfast is 'meh'...
