Ease of check-in/check-out was a 5. Noise level inside the room (30) was a 3. Parking is tight and street parking is very limited. It is less than one block from the beach, but none of the rooms have a view. The rooms were cute, a little run down and the tv was small and far away from the bed,...

There is a nice homey atmosphere and a feeling of an old-fashioned resort. Location is perfect. The rooms have everything you need. There is fruit and a welcome glass of wine before dinner. All very welcoming. And quiet too.

I love this place! It is walking to the marina. Check is quick and easy and they offer wine and cheese between 5-7pm and you can choose to have it by the outside fire pit upon request. The bed is so comfortable, it felt like home! I would stay here again soon.

Lovely character hotel, clean great breakfast and the best location near the pier and beach. Easy walk to state street which has lots of eateries. Enjoyed the free wine and cheese - nice touch. Staff were all polite and helpful. Parking easy. Avoid Sambos cafe nearby though it's awful!

We had a nice stay in Santa Barbara this weekend and enjoyed our stay at the Casa Del Mar Inn. It is located close to state street and surrounded by many other small inns, just a block of the beach. Service: Dan at the front desk was very helpful and knowledgeable. You get a happy hour with wine and cheese,...

Santa Barbara is an expensive area so getting a bed and breakfast for a moderate price sounded like a good deal to us. The place is nice, quiet, good layout. The room was very clean and it had everything we needed. The breakfast was super simple but hey, I'm not complaining. They also offer wine and cheese in the evenings....

santa barbara is not what it once was! It is sadly a town overrun by homeless. I guess the politics are permissive. who knows? I contacted the visitors bureau and was simply told 'the world has changed.' The chamber of commerce was more responsive and said there is a new police chief and she's trying to address the issues. Well,...

Website claimed to have a "shared balcony" which was the entrance to the room facing a busy street. We supposedly got "upgraded" to a suite but this was next to another busy street. Noise throughout the night kept us up, as well as the pillows that felt like they had gone through the dryer several times. Toilet ran all night,...

A nice Spanish style villa. It's older but still nice. Our room was a little on the small side but it serves the purpose. There is free breakfast in the morning and free wine and cheese at 5:00PM. It is next to the beach in a quiet area between the marina and Stearns Warf.
