We have been Thousand Trails members for over 30 years and finally made it to the Rancho Oso Camp. We made a lifetime memory with our Granddaughers riding the stable horses on the trail ride. We loved the ride and enjoyed hearing the history of the Ranch as told by the tour guide.

Wi-Fi was dismal. Need to update to todays standards of internet with password protected access. Loved the representatives working there. Amenities were fine. perhaps road could be improved but did not hinder us from having a good time.

We stayed in the new cabins and everything was excellent. The only minus I have is the bedroom mattress was pretty lousy. Everything else was excellent. The staff were uniformly pleasant and friendly. When our planned horseback excursion was canceled due to weather and animals, they did their best to reschedule us and provided us with alternative activities.

The single lane road with no shoulder and steep drop offs should be upgraded. We ran into two rigs coming in when we were leaving.it was a harrowing experience with inches of clearance between vehicles.

We decided to miss the Holiday Traffic and make the drive a few days early. We stayed in Rancho Oso before going off to hang with the family. It was beautiful and calm in the Oaks. There are hiking trails and a cute store. Not much cell service and internet in the adult lodge. We really enjoyed the getaway.

Wonderful people who care for the ranch! Wifi poor even in center but it's in a canyon - so obviously no cell or tv services either. Great history here. Will come again when returning in the spring. Didn't use showers but laundry machines are large and work well.

Big problem with bed in the cabin. We were introducing our family to camping and they got no sleep because the bed was on rollers and moved and made noise every time they moved which ruined the chances of them ever going again. Very disappointing.

Nice campground with RV sites and cabins but 30 minutes from downtown Santa Barbara makes it a little inconvenient. Cable available but minimal channels and no ESPN. The adult lodge and billard room was very nice and the only place where wifi was available.

I felt that my kids where in a safe environment. Obviously the grounds have a lot of history and the buildings where built many years ago, specifically the stone lodge, and it would be nice to see the building interiors to be updated.
