We were a little skeptical when we arrived-- the hotel looked a little run down from the outside, and there is no front desk-- you have to check in at the Hyatt a few blocks away. The hallway and elevator are a bit dingy, but the room was actually quite comfortable. There were actually two rooms-- a bedroom then a...

once inside the room it was perfectly fine, but the exterior is shabby, the check-in down the road at the Hyatt is inconvenient and it's tricky to find. A little removed from the restaurant area but it's a pleasant stroll down the beach to get there.

This hotel would be much better for one night than the 3 nights we stayed. The beds are great and furniture nice. The rooms are clean. However, it was very noisy being on the first floor. It seemed like the people above us were stomping around all night. Also, because the check-in desk is at the near-by Hyatt, there is...

I chose the Parkside Inn off of Expedia because I was only there for a night and didn't want to spend a lot. I'm also very familiar with Santa Barbara. I knew the hotel was not near downtown but that wasn't important to me. When I arrived, I checked in at the Hyatt and learned that I had full access...

Loved this place for the price. The use of the main hotels facilties - pool, firepit etc were amazing. It's not part of the main hotel but for the pice you can't complain - area it's in is fine and only a little walk to seafront, we didnt have a car so great for us. It's about a 20 minute...

For the price, it was the perfect place for a one night stay. The biggest downside is having to check in at another hotel. There was free parking, but the lot was quite small and hard to park in. The room was clean, the beds comfortable and there were very nice toiletries. The lighting by the mirror and sink was...

We drove up to Santa Barbara from Santa Monica staying a few days here and there from Nashville, TN. Santa Monica was nice but Santa Barbara is by far our favorite. The Parkside Inn is owned by the Hyatt Santa Barbara (walking distance). You have to check in at the Hyatt Santa Barbara then come to the Parkside Inn. The...

We spent two nights at the Parkside Inn. They are pet friendly, which was a plus as we were traveling with a tiny dog. Hyatt owns and manages this property, but it hardly lives up to the Hyatt standards. The property is on a side street, across from a sketchy park. Parking was not adequate for the number of units;...
