Excellent value . Liked the local style and relative small scale of the hotel. Staff is very helpful. The location is very good to explore the City, the beach and the interesting areas around - we did Ynez wine area.

I appreciate your review. Thank you for commenting on the staff and location of the hotel. It is great to be so close to downtown, yet far away enough to not be a part of the hustle and bustle. The Santa Ynez wine country is spectacular and if you want to see where they grow the grapes - brilliant. As...

This is an excellent little place to stay. Very down to earth, clean, comfortable, and a block and a half from the Ocean. The included breakfast was very tasty and the room. Our stay was very peaceful and relaxing. We would highly recommend.

My wife and I celebrated our 20th anniversary here. It was a magical weekend. Can't wait to return! Our room was over the kitchen/breakfast area, so a little noisey early, but not a big deal. Loved the Eagle's Nest and the room overall.

I'm glad you enjoyed your stay with us. Thank you for the hints about breakfast. We are always striving to improve our amenities and your comments will help. We serve fresh fruit and a choice of either an egg dish or home made granola and yogurt. Good enough to get you out and about for a day of relaxing on...

My daughter and I stayed here while attending a show at the Granada theatre. The room was very nice and the staff was great. the location is right between downtown and the beach. Local construction was a bit of an issue but I am sure it will be resolved soon. The hotel is very pretty in the old Spanish style.

Thanks for writing about your stay at The Eagle Inn. We do feel that our location is perfect. Only two blocks to the beach and a ten minute walk to downtown. The construction that is on State St (ten minutes away) is due to be complete before the end of the summer. It's going to look fabulous!

We spent 3 nights at the Eagle Inn as a family, we have 2 kids (14 and 8). The ground floor room just off the lobby was great, plenty of space and quiet. Read some reviews earlier on street noise, hard to understand as this is a residential area, we heard nothing. Movement on the second floor was audible. The...

The Eagle Inn has charm, location, cleanliness, friendliness, coziness....all in walking distance of the ocean! The bathroom was very modern - the mattress was overly comfortable - the Jacuzzi tub was a complete surprise!

My wife and I had a great stay here. Charming, quaint room with great view from our balcony. We found this to be an excellent value compared to other major hotels. We were within walking distance of the beach, pier and State street shopping district. Highly recommend.

I've stayed here several times when in SB and will go nowhere else! The staff is friendly and informative. The whole hotel has a quaint and peaceful feel to it. The beds are super cushy with the softest sheets ever. Try to upgrade to one the bungalow suites for a romantic getaway.

Rooms are spacious, updated, and comfortable. The breakfast choices change daily and both days were delicious. The location is perfect - within walking distance to the beach but on a quiet side street, and parking is available We were very impressed!
