Heading South, we decided to stop here for a night based on price, location, booking.com / TA reviews. We were visiting Hearst Castle earlier that afternoon and just wanted somewhere nearly that was handy. Arriving at 5pm, check in was swift and were were soon in our room. This is an old motel and the rooms are a bit old...

The facility is very nice, clean room and bathroom, we had the room facing the pool, with a beautiful park, quiet location as I had requested on booking, good price for the room 2 Queen beds. Instead, the restaurant is very expensive, both for breakfast and for dinner, little portions, one dish at around $ 20, 5/6 per person for...

We stopped here for one night on our way to San Francisco. The location is great, just a mile or so Hearst Castle and Piedras Blancas where we enjoyed visiting with the elephant seal pups. Price is right but don't expect much, the room smelled musty but we opened the balcony and bathroom window to air out. We slept with...

We (2 adults & 2 kids) enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Room is clean & quiet, staff is OK (just did check-in/check-out so couldn't says more). Kids enjoyed the swimming pool, which was clean. We didn't went to the restaurant for dinner nor breakfast as it was very expensive. We had restaurant accross the road which was more affordable...

This was a lovely little hotel very close to Hurst Castle. We had a lovely room with 2 Queen beds and the front desk staff were very friendly. There were quite a few motels nearby and a few restaurants as well. The Lodge had it's own restaurant with a lovely menu and great food and also had the added bonus...

In the middle of nowhere, with very nice view from balcony in the room. People at front desk were very friendly. It was very quiet place to stay, and for the price it was absolutely worth. Room was clean, walls were very thin - we have heard a lot from people in other rooms. However as a one night visit...

There quite a number of motels in this location to choose from and this complex does appear to be one of the older .The individual rooms do seem to vary, our friends had a upper level room with queen bed and individual balcony whilst our room had two queen beds and the terrace across the front was a common walkway...
