The room I stayed in had bed bugs. I had bite marks on my back, left wrist, neck, and chin. I was able to smash 2 of the insects. One of them was full of blood. The room itself was spacious and appeared clean. But the rug was worn and stained with spill marks. Also the clock-radio's alarm went off at 12am, despite the alarm button being in the off position. The hotel is located in a mixed industrial/residential area. Three taquerias (taco shops) and one diner are within a 10 minute walk from the place. A cafe is right next door selling coffee to go. In the streets behind the hotel, there were day laborers standing around waiting for work.
The woman in charge was very sweet and kind. I was in town alone for a surgery and when leaving out for it she told me that she would pray for me. That touched me. The room was everything I needed. It was clean, comfortable and cold (ac). I was a little worried when I pulled up in my Uber due to it's closeness to the highway, but was pleasantly surprised. I was not bothered at all by any noise or anything shady. No food or drinks offered due to COVID but there was a mini fridge, a microwave and a coffee maker with supplies. All clean and ready to be used. Didn't use the toiletries, they were too floral for me, but they are supplied. Showers were hot, couch and bed were comfortable, the bed was very comfortable. The maintenance team work hard and it shows, I'd see them work as I took daily walks. Lots of stores nearby some within walking distance. Parking right outside the rooms, seemed full at night and empty during the day... I had a lot of time on my hands lol. …
The room was spacious and clean with microwave and fridge. Wifi satisfactory. It has been a long time since we have been served as sour and swollen as the woman who received us at this place. It was both on arrival and in the morning the next day. It is not good in a service business Although the room was clean it was not the same with the air conditioning system. When lit, it emitted a musty smell in the room. When I lifted the filters up, they turned out to smell musty. Cranky noise from the freeway right next door. Earplugs were needed. The brightness of the breakfast was the coffee. A little bread wrapped in cellophane and a fruit and nut bar.
Nothing fancy here but very clean and close to 101. The bed was nice. Breakfast was cereals and danishes. We particularly enjoyed the unique coffee machine although there is a coffee shop right next door.
One does not always want a downtown hotel. We arrived at SFO early to mid-afternoon. We picked up a rental car and were travelling north to the wine country but did not need to get as far north as Sonoma or Napa. Yet we did not want a downtown San Fran hotel (did that last year). We wanted a motel with free parking, wifi, clean and easily accessible without a long and complicated drive from SFO. We enjoyed the north side of the bridge on the way. We did not need a large TV, spa or pool for we would be tired. This filled the bill. Clean, comfortable, not overly large but we were not going to open every suitcase. Traffic noise level was lower than we expected Celia's restaurant nearby (walking) was a bonus. We did not need fancy food. Celia's filled the bill. Easy to move on the next day to the wine country. …
All new bathroom and new paint and decorations on room walls. One of the cleanest places I've stayed in this price range. Very convenient location for two freeways. Highway noise was not overwhelming and I had the room closest to it. I actually thought the breakfast was a step above most cold breakfasts.
Worst experience ever! Beware of the nasty manager Anita, who rather than apologize for a broken handle that came off in the and almost fell on my toe, and took no responsibility for the refrigerator being set so cold it ruined our food, among several other issues, this mean woman instead criticized us for being too picky! They may be a few dollars cheaper here but watch out for poor quality and bad service. We’ll gladly pay a few dollars more not to be yelled at instead of apologized to!
Location apparently not in the best part of town. Service at Front Desk was barely adequate; seemed more like wanting to take your money rather than assuring you of a pleasant stay. In-room air conditioner was noisy. Fridge did not work; lost a doggy-bag meal that was saved for breakfast. Carpet was filthy. Did not appear to have soundproofing between rooms. Definitely no soundproofing to a very busy commercial street. Alleged "breakfast" was last straw; found other accommodations for 2nd night.
Cheap alternative to San Francisco accommodation when on a budget. Very comfy bed. A bit noisy due to location. Breakfast rubbish. Pre packed muffin and a cereal bar which you get from the office. No where to sit.
Nice and clean hotel, the bed was comfortable and the staff very helpful,. We were looking for a place to eat in walking distance they recommended a Mexican restaurant just around the corner it was good. The bathroom was also clean and the toiletries had a very nice fragrance. Thought it was going to be noisy because the Inn was on a busy street, but we were at the back down the side and it was it noisy. The breakfast was it much but we knew that.
