The motel called Los Padres was a nice little family run motel. The woman at the front was friendly although a little distant and she had everything I needed ready for me. She let me park the motorcycle in a carport and gave me all the information about SLO.

Located within 20 minutes walk to downtown. This is basic and affordable establishment, room #14 is without air conditioning, not a problem if you leave the window open. Staying here on my way to San Francisco, good for a night otherwise go choose something better.

There was a mix up on my reservation (my fault, not their's) and they quickly and kindly fixed the error. The room was comfortable and well located in San Luis Obispo with easy access to downtown and the 101 freeway.

This was close to being a 4 star high value experience for me in TA. The room was cheap but clean with modern fixtures. The beds were nice and comfortable. And the shower was forceful in its water delivery and accurate with the water temp. The aircon seemed accurate and stable and the service was professional and prompt. For $80...

We are a family from Sweden and were on our way from Monterey to Los Angeles. We hade no room for the night. We went to Los Padres Inn in San Luis Obispo and discovered that it was no vacant room there either. But we were so helped by the man in Los Padres Inn. He took much time to...

I prefer budget motels when traveling as I often only spend time there to shower and sleep so that I can spend my time and dollars enjoying what the town has to offer. The Los Padres hit the mark of acceptance on all points. It is easy walking distance to restaurants, shops, the campus, and a $5.33 Uber ride back...

Obviously an older motel that could use some sprucing up. The walls are thin, fortunately we had considerate neighbors next door. It's a bit of a hike into the downtown area - we did it once and then chose to drive after that. But there's no doubt about it - it was a relatively inexpensive place to stay for a...

While older and smaller, this property is in a perfect location to walk to downtown, the school, etc. It is situated between two wonderful businesses, w/ one being a fantastic coffee house that we went to each morning. It is nestled off the street and was surprisingly quiet. The room was clean and had everything we needed. There was a...

Good value for the money - one of the least expensive motels in the area and still walk to downtown San Luis Obispo. Rooms improve each time I visit. Free WiFi. Splash Cafe - one of the nicest coffee shops in the area - is just a short walk.

We were greeted Pleasant Personnel. Staff maintained her composure even when a Guest barged-in and interrupted out Check-In paperwork. Even though I would have preferred a more inner city to be strategically closer to midtown, their location allowed for a more Quiet Atmosphere.
