The room was average at best. It was in much needed repair. There were slats missing from the blinds and a large crack in the bathroom mirror. The patio was nice with the hot tub. The people above me were loud pretty much all night and I tried to call the front desk around 3am and nobody was answering. Definitely...

I believe you stayed in our standard mineral springs rooms. We've just completed renovating almost every one of our one-bedroom spa suites, and now are renovating our standard mineral spring rooms. I'm very concerned that you were not able to get in contact with our front desk at 3 am. I'm looking into that now with the front desk. Anytime...

I've stayed here annually for the past 10 years and aside from a few issues here and there it's been a pleasant stay each time. This past weekend I stayed for one night, I was one of two couples and we had two queen suites in the Mythical building (I was in Legendary, the other couple was in Fanciful). First,...

Of course, we most certainly value our all our guests and return guests are truly appreciated. I'm very sorry about the ant situation. Located on over 100 acres of trees and meadows, we occasionally will have ants. We deal with that situation immediately and we have a professional vendor that services our property every two weeks. We've completely renovated the...

I was in town for work and after long, cold days, it was so wonderful to go back “home” to a huge room and a mineral spring hot tub in my own room! Also, it’s very quiet there so that’s nice when trying to sneak in a nap. I don’t know what those pillows and bedding are made of, but...

As a person that has stayed in Zen monasteries, both in California and Japan, I take this to be a high compliment. So nice you could relax in your lovely renovated one-bedroom spa suite and your own private mineral springs hot tub. I'll make sure to tell the staff you found them excellent. Thank you again for your insightful review....

Well, if we hear that guests "can't wait" to return, then we feel like we've done our job, and that is so important to us. We love it when guests experience and enjoy everything Sycamore has to offer, such as you did with your spa treatments, dining at our Gardens of Avila Restaurant, yoga classes, and the hiking and biking...

The property is beautiful, tranquil and restorative, catering to your every need. You can't beat the water, especially from the old well. Having a private spa on the deck of your room is wonderful in every way. The staff is A-1. You can't ask for better service. The restaurant is convenient, lovely in ambiance with great service and food. My...

To hear that Sycamore was "sublime" is so lovely. First, thank you for telling us the staff was "A-1." And great to know that you had great service and food in our Gardens of Avila Restaurant. Yes, you're quite correct, we are systematically renovating. We've completely renovated almost every one-bedroom spa suite, and currently are renovating the standard mineral spring...

This is a wonderful place, we just spent the night, the rooms are great, we had a fireplace, which we used, and a spa, king size bed, and really big screen tv's, one in the bedroom and the other in the living room, just like walking into a house, it was wonderful, would love to go again, I forgot to...

Had originally planned to take advantage of the Spa, but was going under renovations and they offered to allow us to cancel outside of their 72hr period. We declined and stayed anyway, from the bell boy to the front desk and beyond we were greeted and met with smiles and a friendly hello. Tucked into a beautiful nook of nature,...

Though the evening that we stayed was wet and rainy, my wife and I were thoroughly impressed with the service, property as a whole, and the room. (King Suite) The only item not in the room was a wine bottle opener. However, after I called to ask about one the staff knocked on our door with an opener in hand....

My weekend stay at Sycamore Mineral Springs far exceeded my expectations! My room was stunning, the food was delicious and I had the best massage of my life. Overall it was nice, but don't go if the area is supposed to get heavy rain. The road leading in and the resort itself tends to flood. Very private and customer service was excellent. Restaurant could have been better but for a one night mini gwtaway, we had a good time.
