This hotel seems really nice. It’s close to the airport and the rooms are extremely huge. They don’t have breakfast at the moment because of the COVID situation but the front desk people are really helpful and friendly. The rooms are well lit and sanitized. I would highly recommend this place over those expensive small rooms.
The place was situated on busy El Camino Real. You'll hear vehicles and what's bad is, drivers drive faster in the early mornings and you'll hear them. The room's layout is okay, however while the housekeeper was cleaning out the garbage, she uses the same gloves/hands in touching towels to replenish the old ones. That's very unsanitary and due to Covid, who knows where she put her hands or what else she touched. Coffee cups? Bedding? Door handles? Elevator buttons? Good thing I caught her using the same gloves and told her I'll be getting my own towel from her cart instead of her touching the new ones but she does not understand English. So I went ahead and got my new towels from her cart. Who knows what they do if guests/customers aren't around. Using gloves that's been in the garbage then touching clean towels is a very unsanitary and unsafe. Due to Covid-19, wearing gloves is safe but cross contamination isn't. My room also wasn't cleaned or my bed fixed. I informed the front desk about the cross contamination and my bedding and also informed the clerk I'll be giving them this feedback and she said go ahead. There was a big stain on the bed and sheets. Informed the front desk about it. Lots of street noise especially in the early mornings. The only thing positive was the front desk clerk, room layout, and nearby restaurants and stores. There are other places within walking distance, Ramada, Super 8, Comfort Inn and others.
Upon my arrival for check in I was told I had to use a card with a chip on it I asked where was that listed at the lady said it’s online under the policies then she asked how many people note I already did a pre booking so I put one person online already so I said one person she then accused me of having an attitude I said lady I don’t have an attitude I just need a room she said I don’t want you here you can go somewhere else I said you obviously having a bad day & she replied yes & it just got worst note this is the manager of the property she needs better people skills or to be replaced altogether
I travel to San Francisco every few weeks for business and love this hotel. It is conveniently located just minutes fro SFO airport and the hotel offers a complementary shuttle service. The front desk staff is always friendly, welcoming, and makes me feel at home while away for work. The recently upgraded rooms are fresh and clean. IHOP and Starbucks just walking distance for a morning bite! Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the San Francisco area!
