Stayed overnight with Gary and Rox on our way to the funky sights that this unique area has to offer. We rolled in around 130 after stopping for some handmade jerky and sunblock at AMPM and were welcomed by Gary who was very informative. He drew us a map of the locations of everything we had come for and more...

A friend and I stayed in the Captain room. It's really big, has two beds which I found really comfortable (and the pillows too - that's super important to me, I bring my own by left it in the car). The front door opens to the 'lobby" which is where the fridge and microwave and coffee maker are - very...

This place is a little gem. The owners/proprietors were wonderful and helpful. Gave us some great tips on seeing the local flair. A must see is the Salvation mountain and slab city. Would definitely stay here again. What a time capsule of a place.

Roxanne was so nice to us and very accommodating. We explained to her that we were driving out from Los Angeles and would get there at about midnight and she was totally fine with that and called throughout our drive to check up on us. When we got there she walked us over to where we could get coffee in...

What a great location to stay. Very friendly and welcoming hosts gave us a really nice room for our group of 6 and explained the entire area very well. We went for dinner and afterwards enjoyed hanging out at the campfire with them. Lovely! Definitely stay here!

Every time I'm at the Salton Sea, which can be up to three times a year, I stay at Ray and Carol's. The rooms are clean, the showers are hot, and it's the safest place I've ever stayed. And coffee - as much as you want to drink - gets made every day automatically! The owners, Gary and Roxanne, are...
