We spontaneously decided to try to get a room on our way home from a week in Ashland, Medford, Brookings and Bandon Oregon then Mendocino through Anderson and Alexander valleys. The staff was delightful and helpful. The hotel amenities were perfect. I would return in a heartbeat. Everything was top notch.

Trying to find a good hotel at a relatively reasonable price in St. Helena during the grape harvest season is difficult (basically not possible). But the Wydown Hotel meets the test. A nice small hotel on Main St. in St. Helena, the Wydown is fairly new, well appointed and comfortable. It also close to excellent restaurants (one right across the...

We appreciate your time to share your thoughts on our hotel. We do try to be very competitive with our rates and offer superior service. Being in the heart of St. Helena and the Napa Valley, does allow easy access to the wineries, excellent restaurants and some lovely boutique shops. Please let us know when you'd like to stay with...

My experience with the Wydown Hotel is that it is simply a gem. Located on Main Street on the northern end of downtown, it is perfectly located to everything. There is plenty of parking for guests and it is within walking distance of most St. Helena Restaurants. I consider it to be a boutique hotel and it has a lovely...

We had a reservation at ambrosia house BNB. We showed up with only 1 of the 2 rooms that we booked available. We walked over to Wydown and talked to the front desk. They were very empathetic to our situation. They went above and beyond to help us out.

I spent two nights here recently and would definitely stay here again. The hotel is modern and recently renovated with a friendly touch and great (high-end) amenities. My room was very large with a big bathroom and make-up mirror. I did not hear any noise as some of the other posters had mentioned, but then again, you do see a...

Wonderful hotel - rooms were lovely and clean. Breakfast in the morning had a very homestyle modern feeling - it was all set out with pastries, granola, coffee and juice and you could eat at a long table just off the kitchen. Downtown St. Helena - easy to get to wineries. The stay was lovely. I would stay here again.

Lovely property with upscale linens. The bathrooms are a little on the small side but are nicely appointed. The location can't be beat - right on Main Street and walking distance to Cook Restaurant, Farmstead, and Spottswoode Windery. Easy Uber ride to Meadowood Restaurant. The front check in clerk was extremely helpful when we arrived. Since our room wasn't ready...

We arrived at 8pm after a 12 hour "one of those trips from NYC" and immediately relaxed as we entered and were greeted by the nicest man who is in charge much of the time. We were an hour and a half late for a dinner and a little stressed out. Now it's the next morning and we are fully...

We stayed at the Wydown Hotel for 3 nights in March and had a wonderful time. St Helena is the most perfect little town to stay in when exploring the region. Hi Chrissy - Thank you very much for the great review! The occasional street noise is far outweighed by our convenient downtown location offering several world-class restaurants, tasting rooms and shopping, right outside our front door. Ditch the car for a few days and enjoy all the charm St. Helena has to offer!
