We took a family trip after Christmas to the Mission Inn to see the Festival of Lights, a spectacular display of lights and decorations. Don't miss the docent-led tour of the hotel and museum filled with photos and stories about this historic inn. Casey Cupcakes are a sweet treat and the Breakfast Burrito served in the restaurant was delicious and...

Love, love, love the atmosphere and ambiance of the Mission Inn. Can't come back often enough! It's especially magical in December during the Festival of Lights. One of our favorite destinations. This stay our room had a quiet little personal courtyard and a view of the pedestrian street below with all the Christmas festivities and decorations. We were serenaded by...

Tiny elevators and lots of nooks and crannies. We were here for the Festival of Lights. Well worth it. We just had a basic room and it was excellent. A little noisy, but tolerable. Our favorite "old school" hotel.

I celebrated my 49th birthday with dear friends at The Mission Inn for one night after Christmas. What a phenomenal Festival of Lights!! We enjoyed a holiday package which included room, tour, breakfast for 2 and complimentary valet service. The tour alone was worth the price (which wasn't bad!) I am pleased we visited after Christmas as the crowds were...

The Mission Inn is one the places that we return to in order celebrate my wife's birthday in mid-December. And for those familiar with the Mission Inn, this is certainly the time of year to be there, with all of the wonderful holiday energy. We have always enjoyed our stay (hence, the reason we return every several years or so)...

My family stayed at the Mission Inn Hotel during the Festival of Lights in December 2015. We all had an incredible time. The resort is located in Downtown Riverside, just off the freeway. Parking is $20 per day for Valet, and $15 per day for Self parking. The staff were all super friendly, and very helpful. There is no resort...

Room Service was on time and very good. Valet needs a little more co-ordination with front desk. I do not mind leaving my car up front and keys with front desk after hours, but waiting for a valet driver to help me is poor service. Front desk should understand orange tag on car keys and accept them for the busy...

Spent two nights there to see Festival of Lights with a package deal which included $150 credit at their fabulous restaurant, bottle of wine, valet parking and a cupcake! The light display is beyond words; the historical aspects of the Mission Inn are very interesting and you must sign up for the tour. BE SURE and make reservations at restaurants...

An architectural marvel! Beautiful in all respects with superb customer service and excellent food. Highly recommended, especially during the Festival,of Lights from Thanksging though New Years. Those lights and animated figures rival those at Disneyland.

My 4 year old and I stayed at the Mission Inn on December 23rd on the strong recommendation of a family member who had stayed there previously during the holidays. I had told her I wanted to feel some holiday spirit. I am happy to say our experience was phenomenal. ARRIVAL The hotel was booked to capacity and the car...
