I've stayed at this motel 5 years ago and wanted to stay again this year to see the fall colors. The front desk person who attended my reservation call provided the rate ($95 per night) and collected my credit card info etc and confirmed my stay for 3 nights (2 adults and 2 children - 9 & 1 year old's)....

Not sure what prompted you to bash us in this review. Tracy is the friendliest person in the world (read our other reviews). While I'm sure you remember the events as you described, your review is a bit of an embellishment of the actual events. We asked the employee who took your reservation and she claims never to have promised...

got a room in the back area where the "garden seating" is and also the stream. Its very peaceful. The front is where the trucks park (of course) so it can be noisier in the morning when the folks leave. While older, the room had a fridge, microwave, and an air conditioner unit. No complaints because it had what I...

Great old style motel in East Quincy. The Ranchito is the opposite of the many chain motels and this makes for a charming stay. The location is extremely convenient within walking distance of restaurants and stores. The grounds are beautiful set in amongst trees with a stream running through the grounds. Made for a relaxing and refreshing stay.

We were in town for the BMW rally at the fairgrounds in mid September. The stream in front of the cabins are awesome. If you like to get together with your friends lots of nice areas to hang out with nice ambience. The rooms are not spotless, but we noticed pretty common in small towns across America. The owners are...

Three stars for the beautiful grounds. 0 stars for the mean management. My husband and I had really bad allergies and called the front desk for some more tissues and she was really rude and said we would have to "come to the front desk if you care so much." This was about 9pm....not late at night. Then when my...

Very quiet location, within walking distance to restaurants and grocery store. The outdoor areas were very nice and having the space outside was great for families. The owners were very nice and accomodating.

This was a solid choice for a Quincy stay. In the overall scheme of things, it is not a place I would choose, but it was inexpensive, and the owners were awfully nice people. The room was small, and there wasn't a whole lot of space to put things. A little extra shelving in the bathroom would have been greatly...

Room was nice and quiet despite the highway. Large lawn between room and parking was peaceful. Staff was attentive and helpful with the Wi-Fi. Would like to spend more time in Quincy exploring it's history.

We stayed here last year and again this year. They have rooms in the front, and more rooms tucked though the back accessible with a car. The beds and pillows are very comfortable, the owners are friendly, and the area out back has a babbling brook that runs through it, just in front of the rooms. They have chairs outside...

We have stayed here before and decided to stay here again. If you're looking for a hotel like Best Western it's not, but it is a nice motel in a woodsy setting. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are clean and it's very quiet. There is a microwave, little fridge and coffee maker in the room. They do not...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Ranchito motel is nestled in a peaceful park-like setting on 2.7 wooded acres with a babbling brook. The original motel was built in 1946,with slumpstone brick, recycled wood beams and doors, and antique tiling in the bathrooms. Another 15 rooms were added in the 1970's, which have a more contemporary feel. The rooms are clean and comfortable with brand new beds, free high-speed wireless internet, Direct TV, HBO and Cinemax, barbeque and picnic areas. We offer a small pet friendly environment for your beloved extended family. Some rooms are equipped with kitchenettes and there is one two-bedroom suite with a full kitchen and private patio and barbeque. All rooms have available to them a free DVD lending library. John and Tracy are new owners as of November 2010 and are striving to make the Ranchito Motel a pleasurable experience for all of their guests. ... more   less
