We've stayed in the past, but this time was AMAZING ! The rooms have been updated, the pool and spa are sparkling clean, there is an outdoor bbq which anyone can use. Didn't bring your bbq tools ? They have some for you to use, and they will even light the bbq for you ! If you're not in the... More

Great motel and great owners. We utilized the terrific BBQ grill both nights that we stayed. We had to wait to check in for one of the two rooms and the owner gave us each a bottle of wine. We had an issue one night with the room and not only was the problem taken care but we were also... More

My wife, mother-in-law and I stayed for one night over the Mother's Day weekend. Ken was very accommodating in getting us adjacent rooms with a connecting door. Greatly appreciated his efforts. Rooms were large and nicely decorated. We'll be back

We were immediately greeted by Ken, on site owner/manager. He was extremely friendly and helpful. We chose the second floor "room with a great view". The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. We were in Plymouth to visit wineries and the Shenandoah is located perfectly...and at a very reasonable price. Will definitely stay again in the future!

This is the top rated TA hotel because there's not much competition and as a result I think the rooms are overpriced. While the outside looked like any other non-descript motel, the rooms were large, clean, and had been nicely remodeled. The staff was very friendly and went out of their way to accommodate. Coffee and breakfast was subpar. The... More

The Shenandoah Inn has the layout of a motel but due to the local ownership and their focus on their guests it acts and feels more like an Inn. The evening we spent at the Inn was pleasant...the room had been recently renovated, was tastefully decorated, had a bucolic view of the surrounding fields and was comfortable in every sense... My stay at the Shenandoah inn was amazing! the views are so incredible... The Shenandoah was recommended to me for my birthday getaway. My wife and I took our 8 year old son and we were greeted by ken, a very friendly guy at the front desk. His title is something like general operating manager and ownership partner of the... More

We were in Amador county for some wine tasting and wanted a place to stay the night. the room was a little better than what I expected. It's very easy to access right on Highway 16 and there is a large pasture area directly behind it so there is not a lot of noise. I used the outdoor Jacuzzi but... More
