After a too long of a break in between we just returned to this beautiful working ranch and B&B! Hosts Robin and Mark are the kindest, most intelligent and interesting people you will ever meet. Having lived in the area for a while they are a font of local history and other information as well. We stayed in the larger...

My girlfriend and I stayed at "The Pharm" for a romantic getaway weekend to beautiful El Dorado County. We didn't know what to expect at first, but this was truly one of the coolest bed and breakfasts we've stayed at. It's a great place to stay if you want to leave behind the hustle and bustle of city life and...

We enjoyed our stay here. The hosts are friendly and full of information and recommendations in the area. We stayed two nights over the holiday weekend. The breakfasts were very good (start hungry, it helps.) I believe there are 5 rooms, three of which were occupied the first night. (We were the only ones there the second night.) Although our...

It's difficult to review this place because when my friends & I first arrived, well to be honest, we hoped we were at the wrong place. It is a bit chaotic looking, first impressions for us was not good..a big old camper van out front, it just looks untidy. Also when we arrived the lady said she thought we were...

My apologies on a delay in responding, but we just joined tripadvisor today. Our historic 1883 B&B is a traditional, not built to be a hotel, home located in a very rural setting with a cottage garden surrounded by open pastures and mountains and yes, our American Eagle RV is parked in the driveway. I am sorry that we did...

It ws interesting to get information from a farm owner. Everything was clean and had the extra touches like water and chocolate. She baked fresh brownies and a wonderful breakfast. Appreciated the advice of what to see in the area. Wonderful host. It's not the romantic get- a-way just a nice place while traveling. -

Also known as Robin's Nest Ranch. Off the beaten path and away from the noise. Lovely historic home site. Mark & Robin are wonderful hosts and made a great breakfast, be prepared to be hungry! Let them know in advance if you just want the light breakfast alternate. The welcoming treat basket is filled with nice goodies. We love animals...

My boyfriend and I spent a weekend here this summer and it may be the best bed and breakfast I've ever been to. We were hunting for a last-minute reservation and got lucky with this one. The price was right, so we gave it a shot and we're both really glad we did. The location is perfect, just out of...

My best friend and I stayed a night at the Fleming Jones B&B after wine tasting in the Amador wine country. Robin and Marc were fabulous hosts! The room in the Bunk House was cozy and had a deck out the back that overlooked the miniature horse pasture. Robin had baked lemon cake in the evening which was wonderful as...

FJH B&B is a working miniature horse ranch and offers its visitors a truly unique B&B experience. We stayed in the Woodshed Room in the Bunkhouse. Warning --the bathroom is only separtated from the bedroom by a curtain in this room only. Also, horses do smell--something I am used to having lived near horses for 18 years. Our room was...

“Rooms upstairs in the main house look fine but we prefer the bunk house!”
pinacoleggo, 23 Jul 2016 | Read review
“We stayed in the "Lover’s Fancy Room", which was very spacious with a private bathroom and shared balcony. Great choice for couples!”
alexr781, 20 Sep 2015 | Read review
“The bunk house is pet friendly, so we stayed in one side. This side did not have an enclosed shower, but did have a hand held hose spray head. But if you want an enclosed shower, the bathroom in the main guest house is available.”
NapaDiamond, 12 Dec 2013 | Read review
“Love the balcony that the Flower Basket room & the Lover's Fancy share. The Lover's Fancy has a huge tub, if you're into that. If you desperately want your room & bathroom attached (so you don't have to go into the shared hallway to go to and from the bathroom) try the Lover's Fancy or the Bunkhouse, but the place is small enough that the other bathrooms not being attached really isn't a big deal.”
PlainJaneDoe, 1 Aug 2013 | Read review
“The Bunk House was great. Detached from the main house and had a lovely deck with table and chairs”
