We enjoyed the sunset from the walkway a short distance from the park. It was great. Fun atmosphere as a man sang and played his guitar. A lady chimed in with her shaker. People gathered around and it really had a community feel. We felt...More

The campsites here are very spacious. It would have 5 stars, but I give 4 because some of the sites are out in the open area with no privacy or wind protection should it be needed. This time of year you can walk to the...More

This place is a great place for camping by the beach. Water is mellow. Dunes to ride your ATVs in. Although the dunes aren't as big as Glamis, it still is a great place to have fun! The Showers are walking distance and grocery stores...More

Make your reservation and camp in a wonderful environment. Beautiful sunsets. Clean. Monarch Butterflies from October to February. A spectacular sight! You won't regret it. Life is short. Live it to the fullest.

The short answer is yes. The longer answer is a suggestion: Bring kayaks, but search two locations just up the beach to put in. Port San Luis Harbor: Amazing. Also Shell Beach, near Eldwayen Ocean Park. Hit dinosaur caves

Wooleys has an outdoor patio that allows dogs, and is on the beach next to the pier. It's walking distance from the campground either along the beach, or through town.
