First: there is NO parking for this hotel. Extremely inconvenient to try & snag a spot on the street anywhere nearby, not even unloading space was available , limited space overnight at the bank across the road required permit from the hotel- - remember this before you book.

It is always a pleasure to receive such a wonderfully detailed review! Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback of your visit with the online community. We would love to be in a position to offer our guests additional parking space, but unfortunately, space in Petaluma is very much at a premium, and we are unable to do so. We apologize for the inconvenience that this caused you but we hope that the positive aspects of your stay, including the quirky decor of our hotel, as well as the in-room amenities and wonderful service that our staff offer, will entice you to stay with us again when you are next in town. We would love the opportunity to host you again. Best Regards, Dustin Groff General Manager

A convenient place to stay for the central location in downtown Petaluma but checking in & out can cause aggravation due to issues with parking and the elevator. Although there are two guest parking spots for unloading, access is awkward because the street has an incline and the

We really appreciate you taking a moment to share your thoughts. While it is wonderful to know that the location of our hotel, and the in-room amenities pleased you, we are sorry for any difficulties that you had with parking. Our historic elevator is a feature of our hotel, and our team is always on hand to provide assistance when necessary, please let us know if we can help you on a future visit. We are always happy to provide our guests with a room on their preferred floor when business permits, so when you are staying again, do let us know where you would like to stay, and we will be happy to accommodate you. We hope to welcome you back when you return to Petaluma. Best Regards, Dustin Groff General Manager

Is the construction done?
I'm sorry - I don't know but we were there in late October and it seemed as if it had a ways to go. I would just call them and ask.

Do all rooms have a bathroom?
Hi 796bobo, No, about 30% of the rooms do not have an en suite bathroom at this time. Those rooms have a sink and vanity in the room in a small alcove. There are shared bathrooms on each floor for those room occupants. The other 70% of our rooms have private bathrooms. We are currently doing a renovation project which will include creating a bathroom for every room. The advantage of the rooms without a bathroom is the price, which is significantly less. So if you don't mind a European-style hotel stay (think hostel, college dorm or campground) you can save a lot of money while these rooms are still available. Thanks for asking!
