This was our second time to Costanoa--to celebrate my husband's birthday. We were prepared for lackluster front-desk service but beautiful accommodations. We were not disappointed, as we were the first time we went and had to argue with the front-desk over an incorrect charge. The manager of Costanoa should read the TripAdvisor and yelp reviews. Others have experienced the same...

My husband and I traveled to Costenoa Lodge to spend our last day in sunny California with my sister and her husband, a couple days after Christmas. We had rooms 201 and 203 at the lodge. Everything was exactly what we had hoped for and more! The decor was so rustic and charming with slate floors in the bathroom and...

Costanoa is a resort/camping area on the California coast, an easy drive from San Francisco or San Jose. It has a nice hotel, space for campers, a general store and a very nice restaurant. There are nice walks all over the property. It's possible to walk down to the water, but this involves crossing a major road. The restaurant is...

I stayed here as a family a few years ago, and was a little put off by a less-than-warm staff, and a sort of cold-feeling, figuratively, and since in was November, literally. We stayed in a couple tents then, with kids, and wanted this more ruggedish experience - this wasn't a problem. I found the RV Park a bit rowdy...

My husband and I have stayed here twice and love it. We've stayed in both a cabin and a tent cabin and actually prefer the latter. It's more unique and cozier. Even on a chilly night it was toasty. The bed is very comfortable and the linens are very good quality. It's not "roughing it" at all. One absolutely need...

My husband and I have been on the road camping for the last 60 days! We have stayed in every level of camping accommodation imagineable from fancy RV resorts geared to 55+ age group to remote wilderness sites. This has the best of both worlds. The campground is across from one of the last great unspoiled stretches of WILD California...

I have no clue were these bad reviews are coming from. Did they stay in another place?? My husband and I stayed in the lodge for three days and what a stay it was!! The room was beautiful with a balcony that looked out on to the hills. Awesome. The bed was comfy and inviting. The sheets were soft and...

Loved it! My husband and I stayed in a Lodge King room on a Sunday through Tuesday. The room was small (tiny shower/bath and the bed took up most of the room) and the bed was slightly uncomfortable, but that's the worst I can say. If you are paying the price for only for a five star room, you will...

Great experience here. The restaurant was fabulous and our tent bungalow was cozy and warm thanks to the heated mattress pad. Enjoyed walking down to the beach after breakfast. Would definitely go again.
