Recently our family stayed at Coastano in their Douglas Fir Cabins. We had a wonderful three days and are looking forward to a return visit. Costanoa has several different types of accommodations. There are hotel rooms in the main lodge, the Douglas Fir Cabins, Tent Bugalows (similar to Curry Village in Yosemite) and camping spots for your RV and/or tent....

I'm annoyed that when you make a reservation, they immediately charge your credit card, even if you made the reservation months in advance. It's one thing to use a credit card to secure a reservation but quite another to issue themselves an interest-free loan of your money. An ethical approach would be bill for service when service is rendered, not...

Our go-to getaway spot for a romantic evening of disconnecting from civilization. Costanoa Lodge is amazing! We always stay in room 205 or 206, upstairs in the North Lodge. There are four rooms - two adjacent rooms on each side of the hallway, in the middle of the building. These four rooms are deluxe. Huge soaking tub for two, a...

Been here 3 previous times. This was the worst and most likely last time. Terrible reception. Maybe she thought she was being friendly but I felt like I was being interrogated. Later if dust around the tub. Fireplace didn't work. Hassled to have had to move. Absolutely no acknowledgment ... sigh. Too bad. Used to like this place...

My wife was seriously ill, so we went on what would be a coast-to-coast bucket list trip for her. We'd visited the tent area before and loved it, so we made a reservation at the campground. After pulling a camper from Oklahoma to Half Moon Bay, we arrived late in the day and the lady working the campground registration saw...

My husband and I and some friends came here on a little getaway. Now keep in mind that the rooms don't have TVs I believe they do have phones but they don't have TVs. they don't want you hanging around in your room. lots of beautiful grounds to explore. The wifi works decently if you hang out in the lobby...

I stayed here over Christmas in one of their lodges. The lodges do not have bathrooms but there are bathrooms available close by. We knew this when booking and on the evening of our arrival everything was fine. However, my wife and I needed to use the bathroom during the night. So we go dressed, walked out to the bathrooms...

This is one of my favorite places to go for a relaxing getaway, that's beautiful and unique, and like camping but without some of the roughness of camping. The resort offers accommodations at every level: a lovely rustic lodge, tent cabins, family tent cabins, regular tent camping and RV camping. I always stay in an Outer Pine tent cabin for...

We have stayed at costanoa many time since it opened, and in the past have truely enjoyed our stay. In a lovely isolated stretch of the california coastline, the inn, tents and cabins allow for a variety of price points, and experiences. Our last trip, alas was tainted. The rooms are still fine, in the main lodge, a bit worn,...

This oasis of quiet nature that soothed our souls. We strolled down to our secluded Douglas Fir cabin and settled on the charming wooden love-seat swing on the semi private porch. What struck us first was the quiet that fell over us like a soft blanket. The only sounds we heard were chirping birds and the distant roar of ocean...
