Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Least expensive place I could find, met what I expected. Brand new carpet, bed was just fine (other reviewers complained they were hard. It was fine. If it was lumpy or too soft I would have hated it. I found this one comfortable), TV, mini fridge and microwave worked, cute pink tiled bathroom. Yes the bathroom tile is old and the grout and corners could use a good bleaching, but it's what I expected for an older motel. Funky 70's desk/makeup dresser with mirror and a light above it. Becky, the hostess, was super friendly and accommodating. She brought us extra pillows and towels when asked and let me have two styrofoam cups so I could heat up water in the microwave to make instant coffee. Her husband had turned on our AC in advance of us arriving to cool off our room which was great since it was 100 degrees that day. Truly appreciated. We didn't go in the pool, but it looked very inviting and clean. Free WiFi was a little weak, barely reached our room at the far end of building but still worked and was ok for my phone. Area felt safe and there was a decent restaurant just across the street. For the price, it was what we expected. Came to visit the Bruce Munro Sensorio lights. Had a good time.

Attended Wedding, needed a place to lay down our heads for the night, Every hotel in Area No vacancy. Upon entering room, the musty smell, door handle inside was "dirty". We wiped down Door handles, toilet handles, anything we would touch with disinfect wipes. We were shocked at the dirt that came off the chair in front of desk. Also left my keys & wallet on night stand shelf, That in turned "sweeped" the dust off shelf when reaching for them in the morning! The room is dated, bathroom fixtures and tile with hard water and calcium buildup .....Unfortunately We would never stay here again, Especially at a 160 bucks a night.

Desperate for a Saturday night room near t central coast, we booked a king room here despite t TA reviews. Well they ere accurate. Room was clean and window ac did cool t room. But! Carpet was horrible, tv was $100 junker, room smelled. Clerk at desk was ok. We wouldn’t stay here again on t edge of a very rough looking part of town.

This was one of the cheapest Motels I could find in Paso Robles on the weekend. Easy to find location. Owner/front desk was quick and efficient. Room - nothing special. Older place. Big shower in the bathroom. It had all we needed. The bed was probably the HARDEST bed I have ever slept on, that is why just an average rating. Convenient parking right in front of the room.

Just needed a bed, the carpet was so dirty that we left muddy prints in the bathroom. The matress was firmer than we are used to. Great location, close to everything. Pool was sparkling clean and we did not see any bugs.

This place is disgusting. Checked in late and stayed just long enough to research a last minute place to stay. My only option was almost $500 but it was worth it to get out of there. I knew by the price that we were getting a no frills place to stay, and since we literally just need a place to sleep for 8 hours I was ok with that. Decor is old, which is fine and at first glance it looked clean enough but as soon as our bags were in and the door was closed the musty smell was overpowering. The carpets are crusty and have black mould all around the edges. The bathroom was also full of black mould. Seriously this room (103) is a health hazard and should be condemned. I'm not a germaphobe by any stretch but this place was the worst. NOT worth the cheap price.

Almost 100.00 dollars! Outrageous what you get! The Farmhouse down the road is the place to stay for the same amount! Due to Graduation they were full! Never again! If you are disabled I could recommend this place, because one can drive up to the Motel front door! Shower drain is still making noise after one hour! Staff is friendly but that’s about it!!!!☹️👎🏻👎🏻

We got exactly what we expected for the price. It was clean, comfortable and quiet, and we are grateful for such a nice place at a reasonable price. The man at the desk was very polite and helpful. He encouraged us to enjoy the amenities of the town and provided us a menu and coupon for an excellent restaurant within walking distance of the motel. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

It was a basic no frills stay, but the room was clean and the staff was very friendly and accommodating to our requests. We would stay here again if passing through Paso Robles which is such a quaint town to visit.

Needed a room for 1 night - not much of a choice at a reasonable price for that date. Figured - how bad can it be right? Went to use the ice bucket, there was brown sludge in the bottom of it, scrubbed it clean but did not use. The bathroom floor under the sink and in the shower was dirty, even had mold in the sink & shower. Carpet was a bit ripped up at the bathroom door. The picture doesn't show it all. Went to go back out to the car, noticed the door plate and around the plate was black - gross! Scrubbed that clean also, and rubbed sanitizer on it. Room was terribly kept - dresser was old and tattered. Is this what one of those rent by the hour motels are like? Disgusting. Even driven to check for bedbugs. Don't waste your money. Stay ANYWHERE else.
