The property has beautiful views of both oak trees and a small personal vineyard. Flowers and grass areas with plenty of personal seating areas, both in the sun and shade. Our room had a separate entrance outside, which was a nice change for a B & B Our room was spotless and a bottle of wine on arrival. Room #... More

So glad you enjoyed your stay. Yes our 20 acre property with 8 acre vineyard, and the return of our running creek does call to those that like to explore. Some people do prefer Room 3's private entrance. More

My friend and I stayed at Chanticleer for a girls' weekend during a Memorial Day wedding that was taking place at a winery in Paso Robles. The room was lovely and upgraded and the grounds were very well maintained. Carolyn and her husband were so friendly and accommodating and she is a wonderful cook! The breakfasts were savory and the... More

Chanticleer is a lucky find! Not only is it perfectly situated in the Paso Robles wine country, our hosts were great. The rooms are lovely with truly comfortable king size beds, fireplaces and a view out the window of the vineyards and oak trees (from the bed no less). Don't skip the breakfast, it's a perfect start to your day... More

First time stay at a B&B, always wanted to try one but we were not sure what to expect. It was great! Carolyn and Roland were very friendly and felt long time friends. My husband enjoyed talking fire shop with Roland. Why do you need to drive away for a vacation we have so much to offer here. To all... More

This was our first stay and hopefully won't be our last! We had a great time at the Chanticleer B&B. We stayed in Room #3. Loved the soak tub and spacious bathroom. The bed was comfortable. The grounds were beautiful. Carolyn and Roland were so friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be back!

My wife & I were thrilled at the room, the view, the service & the breakfasts. We stayed 2 nights in their largest room #1 - it was wonderful. A huge room with a deck that has a great view. The bathroom had a huge luxury tub and a walk in shower the size of some small bathrooms. We reccommend... More

Our room was spacious and extremely well decorated with a fabulous view off its private outside deck. The breakfasts were terrific and we enjoyed conversations with both Carolyn and Roland, the proprietors. The grounds were great to explore and showed the intense interest of Carolyn and Roland whose home we shared.

We have friends who rave about Chanticleer, but I tend to be a sceptic. I was pleasantly overwhelmed by the charm of both the B and B and the hosts, Carolyn and Roland. The vineyard was so nice to explore, especially with the help of our hosts. Roland's stories are limitless, and Carolyn's cooking and graciousness made a breakfast eater... More

This is a wonderful B&B on a vineyard. It has three rooms, a nice living room/public area, and a great location. The proprietors were warm, friendly, and helpful. We stayed in #2 for two nights. I loved my stay at the Chanticleer B & B. The whole experience was peaceful, serene, and relaxing. The owners were very knowledgable about the local wineries, and other places to visit. I would recommend it to anyone seeking solitude and and peace. I know it met my expectations for a special "get-away" place and I want to return my... More
