Recently I've had good luck with Hampton Inn and suites. This was no exception. Room was clean and comfortable. Service was fast and friendly. Parking was free and convenient. One of the things I've learned to appreciate is a hotel that has a blanket in the closet. I don't understand why hotels use a comforter suitable for Arctic temperatures. First thing I do is throw that comforter on the floor and use a normal blanket. even with the room air condition set to 65 degrees, it was unbearably hot under this comforter. + Air conditioning was extremely loud. + Cable TV service was a bit outdated. No Netflix / Amazon prime / YouTube.
We have always preferred Hampton inn for the comfort and price however this Hampton is top notch!! Not only it has all the comfort and priced so well, it is beautiful, new, good sized rooms and easy access to wine country and freeway. Room was well stocked with coffee, condiments and bathroom had ample towels and toiletries. I appreciated the roll of paper towels and extra space where the fridge and microwave is. I was happy to see the fridge size bigger than most Hampton inns. Morning breakfast due to covid is in a to go bag. They had a breakfast box with bagel, boiled eggs and yoghurt. They also had scrambled eggs, sausage, fruit and coffee/orange juice. Parking is complimentary. Staff is super friendly. I highly recommend this place if you want to enjoy Paso Robles wine country. …
This is a newer hotel in the Paso area. The location is wonderful. It is located at the entrance to the West 46 vineyard region, so it is close to some of the best wineries in the area. It is next to the Bellasera Hotel and it's popular Enoteca restaurant. It is also a short walk from a Chili's if this is more your taste. It is located at the South end of the City of Paso Robles, so is only a few minutes from all it has to offer. We stayed in a room with a king bed and a small sofa bed. It was a bit cramped for 3 adults. The room was not laid out very well. The sofa does not face the large LED TV, and when it was unfolded into a bed, it made getting around difficult. There is a small kitchenette with a small fridge and a small microwave. It has a sink however the counter is really too high for most kids (and short adults). The heating system worked well, if a little noisy. The decor is ordinary. The bathroom shower is long but very narrow, so you may hit your elbows against the walls. The shower water was never really very hot. They did a good job with breakfast, considering the COVID constraints. They offered breakfast in a box (bagel, cream cheese, hard-boiled eggs, yogurt) and you could add scrambled eggs and sausage to this. The coffee was OK. In a region containing so many excellent hotels, I think Hampton could have tried a little harder.…
This fairly new Hampton is standard layout, clean, well organized. Staff was very friendly and helpful. A good sized shopping center a short distance away (walking distance) with a number of food choices available. The best part of this hotel was their "build your own" grab and go breakfast. You got to pick unlimited items from a selection of 12 or 15 things...fruit juice or milk, fruit, pastry/muffins/bagels, yogurt and two hot items (scrambled eggs and bacon the day we were there). This is the way it should be done in the Covid era!!! Only bad thing...bed was pretty soft.
We have stayed here on previous trips because it is clean and comfortable. The people there are very nice and helpful. It is convenient to the wineries and downtown restaurants. They have plenty of parking spaces. There is a complimentary breakfast.
