Room was clean. Nice to have fridge. Unlike read in other reviews, saw no bugs, and plugs were easy to find. However, we did better opening window than using their air system. When it was on, it made me sneeze. Be careful if have allergies.
I was a little worried when I read some of the reviews and was wishing I could cancel. The first thing I did when I got to the room was pull back the sheets to see if I could see roaches... there were no signs. The room was clean. There were a few things that prevented this from getting a better review - might seem picky, but I would think there would be pride. There was no towel rack in the bathroom -- there had been at one time but one side was missing. The curtains were not fitted well to the window so even though it says blackout curtains - they couldn't do their job. We were next (I think!) to the owners or the office. So lots of early noise. Now... for what I liked. This might seem odd - but truly appreciate the paper cups for coffee instead of Styrofoam and liked the vegan soap. The bed and pillows were comfortable.…
Dirty, the owner was nasty and rude. There were no plugs in convenient locations, the soap didn't have any suds, there were bugs everywhere. Sleeping in the car would have been better. The towels were old and felt like sand paper rather than a towel.
I'm not the type of person to book a cheap room expecting a 5 star experience. All i need is a place to sleep and wifi. This place had everything I needed except my bed HAD DEAD ROACHES IN IT! I have stayed in cheaper hotels than this and at least they can keep a bed clean. Sleep here if you want to wake up to a 2 inch roach dead next to you when you wake up. SICK!!!
Standard room with a microwave and refrigerator. Room was plain but clean. King bed, Saturday night $109 plus tax. All in all fine for a one night on a trip south. It's at the end of spring street near freeway most of the restaurants and stores seem to be located at the other end of spring street. However, there are lots of eating options up and down this stretch of the road so finding meal options isn't difficult - t hen a quick hop back on the 101.
